Day one for me as well, can't imagine not liking this one. Hoping this also opens the floodgates for the rest of QT's catalog on UHD.

It will be interesting what his use of HDR will be, if any, honestly. Not that the UHD disc will be SDR, but basically in that realm 99.9%; merely technically inside an HDR container.

I really just want Hateful Eight at this point. My favourite of his by some mile.

With them being spread over several different distributors it's not a given, but you'd think Sony would want to exploit the other QT film on their books at the very least (Django). Lionsgate have a few though, and as they ****ing LOVE 4K then they're as good a bet as any.

I finally upgraded Jackie Brown to Blu-Ray, so I bet that one should be announced soon! I’ll gladly buy it again!

Stream the Netflix 4K Ultra. It is better looking than the Blu-Ray I have. HDR and WCG is the main reason.

I would think with a name like Hollywood this will have a lot of sunshine and colorful clothing/sets.

Even the 1080p Netflix stream looks better than the Blu-ray, the HEVC 10-bit encode gives it a lil' bit more finesse.

Apart from Reservoir Dogs, they are licensed from whoever owns the Miramax catalog and I think I've seen it mentioned on these forums that they have to use the masters provided by Miramax and, I might be wrong, but I don't think any of them have 4k masters.

If Lionsgate miss the release of Rambo 2008 when the new film, from Lionsgate as well, gets a UHD, I'll crack! Given some of the unexpected catalog titles they have released, to leave the Rambo series incomplete is just insane!

Lionsgate doesn't own the distribution of Rambo 2008, that's why it hasn't gotten a 4k remaster to this point. it's a smaller company that doesn't have any 4k releases.
