If you buy it on Itunes and add it to your Movies Anywhere account, it will be the 1080p version of the brand new transfer with the original sound mix including all of the original sound effects.

It's the equivalent of the 4K remastered Blu that accompanies the 4K Ultra HD disc, except for it still has the original sound mix.

Oh wow. That looks like a clear improvement. Any reservations I had about the teal are eclipsed by the gains in overall picture quality, for me personally.

If I could tell it from that craptacular video then I'd say so, but I can't so I won't. And the original Bats BD (there's only been one) was from 2009 IIRC, not 2013.

IIRC the Diamond Luxe just added a bonus disc, the main BD was literally the exact same VC-1 encode from 2009. That's what I meant by "there's only been one".

It may be. I never got that one. You're talking about re-releases with a new encode then? That I don't think has happened until now.

I didn't make it clear that I don't mean endless repackaging over and over and over again of the same disc (Warners are the masters of this dark art) but the point still stands, there's only ever been one BD master....until now, natch.

[edit] And it's not like he's actually showing the diamond luxe cover art, so there's that. Looks like the steelbook which was released in 2013...but, again, is the exact same disc as the 2009 version.
