I actually watched this on Friday. It wasn't bad although the CGI used for the Guillotines wasn't up to par. It allowed them to do things they couldn't do with normal props, but personally I prefer how they looked in The Flying Guillotines vs how they looked in this movie. Overall it was decent and the 3D was reasonable.

Re-watched:

Startling sharpness and depth of 3-D in both. Over 65 years old but they sure don't look it. Decent films, too.

Hi pixote,

Had to put in a cancellation request because seller wrote back saying no English subtitles.

They did not specify subtitles but I saw it listed in English on another site with same isbn number.

When you do the Kickstarter for 3-D Digital Film Restoration "El Corazón Y la Espada"(1954), go to the $100 option and it is included with 3D Rarities 2.

Joe the German edition doesn't have English subtitles but the Australian edition does, it's this one here;

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-G...Blu-ray/89993/

It's also region free although that's not an issue for you any longer.

Thanks pixote,

Wonder why the isbn number was listed as the same on both sites. I saw the Australian and with that and the cover having the same labeling, thought the English subtitles were on it.

Ordered it through Fishpond - an Australian website. Actually saved a few dollars.

The Meg

The 3d was better than I remembered from the cinema. I just wish the shark was a little bigger...sequel.

The pop-outs that do exist were great though.

Lots of great pop-outs in that one, not just gimmicky depth! Careful watching that with the wife, Amber Heard in 3D might cause an audible reaction.

Thanks Damon

I saw all the reviews saying the 3D was fantastic. Looking forward to seeing it.

Ordered Iron Man 3 3D from UK and watched recently.

For some reason, this 3D movie was always stupid expensive in USA.

I'm glad that I finally got a copy (my last missing Marvel 3D title).

By recent standards, the 3D is quite strong and PQ is very nice.

I've warmed to the movie over the years, Guy Pierce is pretty good in this.

I think steedeel was talking about Skull Island. There are tons of popouts in Drive Angry.

They don't make movies like Drive Angry now. Very good 3d and crazy action.

I watched Hugo last night. Hadn't seen it in over 4 years. WOW! I have to say, in my opinion, the most impressive 3D I've ever seen. Every single frame of the film is outstanding.

Oh guys, by the way looks like there is some odd glitch that is causing all our posts to look odd. Just noticed it last page or so. Quotes are acting oddly.
