Three freaking terabytes!! Do you have any idea of just how much there is of the movie that will never be made available to the public? I mean we get all these things like extras, bonus features and what not to go with the movies we have on disc, but this is just too much and right now it really burns me knowing that myself and others will never be allowed to personally access any of this content.

I don't know if anybody would be willing to make a list of all the media that was released to this wonderful movie, but it would be interesting to see someone try and cover as much as possible.
It's one of THE most underrated games this generation! And it's coming to PSVR (rumor has it).

But what I was going on about is that goldmine that FOX handed over to Creative Assembly. It's a little late to talk about the game and being a big ALIEN fan, I'd really like to see all that documented material the studio was given access to. If I had a choice on these boards, I'd like to pass this over to a main board on the movie section (do we even have one?) where we can further any discussion over it.

Just think of it, that whole harddrive on possibly everything that ever has to do with that movie is on there.

It was most likely hundreds of thousands of random documents, notes, memos, alterations, dailies, rushes, art, storyboards etc. I guess if you were a real die hard fan, then you could spend the endless hours trawling through all of that but I'd expect the best stuff is what we have already had anyway.

It is a brilliant stealth survival game and unique in the genre by virtue of its pace.

Just picked this up second-hand. Cost me 12 pounds from Cex and they are offering 5 pounds cash for it. So even if I decide not to keep it, it will have cost me just 7 pounds for an unlimited time rental. But I hope that I will like it!

Pretty disappointed so far. Played for 3+ hours last night (got as far as contacting my ship) and have only had 2 scripted appearances of the alien and have been fighting/avoiding 4 humans and numerous androids. Not what I wanted from an alien game, would be really cheesed off if I had paid full price. Hopefully things soon pick up...

It picks up, then goes back to the same. It not a well balanced game if you ask me. Sneak Sneak Sneak is MOSTLY what you will be doing. With that said, I got it on the cheap and enjoyed it for what it was.

You'll have plenty of time with the alien. But yeah at 3 hours in you wouldn't have seen it much from my recollection.

The fun starts soon in that game. I loved it. I really dug the whole experience from start to finish. One of the best games in recent years.

Gets stressful when the alien starts really looking for you especially in those tight hallways.

Try playing it on the hardest difficulty. Then you'll hate the alien and want it to stay away.

You have to play it that way to experience the real thrill. It's one of my favorite game this generation, even though it was cross-gen. You have to be efficient and smart to be good, because being good just gets you killed.

Picked this up yesterday, I remember getting really stuck on it on the Xbox 360. The cut scenes look terrible but the in game graphics look great on PS4. Really wanted to get back into the Alien mood with the new movie coming out.

I have Alien: Isolation for Xbox 360, and it is a great game. The graphics are very realistic-looking. The atmosphere and setting is just like the original Alien movie.

You encounter the Alien on occasion, and must avoid it, in order to complete goals and complete the game.

If you're the type of person who just wants to play a shooter game, this isn't it. This is more of a survival-horror, stealth-type of game. It is more like Resident Evil than Call of Duty.

One thing that must be mentioned again, is the atmosphere. The environments, walls, etc, look so real, it is almost like playing a movie. That is not an exaggeration. Looking out the windows and seeing space is always a treat, but really its the detail and atmosphere of the spaceship that is the best part of the game.

If I had to rate this game, it would be an 8 (great). Either an 8, or a very high 7 (good). If you like the original Alien movie, this game is the closest thing to it.

Is there any issue playing the UK version of this on a US PS4? Thinking of importing.

Ps4 is not region locked. There should be no issue.

Earning the platinum for this game can be quite the task. Playing the entire game without dying is the hardest, by far. If either the alien or a facehugger get you, it’s instant death. Beating it on hard mode is just a matter of patience. I died 82 of the 100 times you have to die for another trophy getting through it.
