Well... no reason to be jealous, really. Living space can be enjoyable as well.

To my defense, at least 1500 from the last 2000 blu-rays i added to my collection came for €1 or less.
Thrift store hunting, and buying whole collections from local people for insanely low prices keep the costs down, and helped fill the 2000-2018 gap in my collection.

I crossed 9,000 blu rays last week, but I'm at 8,926 films, so technically I'm not at 9,000 yet. I can't wait to reach 10,000.

6,000 is impressive though. We can never have enough, can we?

I'll be at 1,428 with Creed II and That Favourite, next week.

The number would be higher, but I go through these phases, where I remove a chunk of movies from my library. I know I got rid of about 200 last year.

There must be a huge number of movies in a collection like that which you'll never have the chance to watch again. Great collection though.

Between DVDs and blu-rays, I probably have close to 10,000 discs. I can find anything I want, because I chuck the cases and put the discs in sleeves in suitcase style storage by genre.

Just hit the 1400 mark this morning. Now, which one of these two "cult-classics" should I say was my number 1400 purchase? Swamp Thing (88 Films UK), or The Super Inframan (88 Films UK)?

I'm half expecting my player to crash once I put the disc in.

My previous Blu-ray player actually did start acting up, once I got around 1,000-1,100. I didn't realize I was watching movies as frequent as I did :P
