No, I used a lot of words there too. I generally do, far more than are necessary, but that's also how I talk.

Not to bash Nightfall, you might want to look into the films, via IMDB, prior to making a selection, if you are committed to only purchasing three of them. They are all kind of different from each other, for the most part. Nightfall is a very slow-moving adaptation of a science fiction story, not bad but not exciting by any measure. Cocaine Wars is a ride. The last three are dealers choice and you should really read up on them. Silk didn't appeal to me, but I'm a woman. You might like a story about a really, really, strong woman.

Serious question for Dark Force.

"END OF THE LINE:
The top selling Code Red new release THE SWINGING BARMAIDS is coming to the end of the run. We were able to grab some more inventory out of Seattle but we don't have many and things are not looking up for CODE RED. Pick it up when the Dark Force Superstore reopens this weekend!
"

Could you please explain the bold part a little better. Thanks.

Sorry you have so many negative feelings. Hope it gets better, and I do mean that.

On the other, I don't believe anyone is using my posts to make paper, but, if you mean the "sound" thing, they stop making sound as soon as I stop typing them. Look, this one's about to fall silent....

Almost....

As to your question about Code Red, Bill has been in the hospital again and is having some difficulty. He knows we're all pulling for him, I'm sure. However, he is dealing with some very significant health issues. Here's hoping he is improving as I write this.

From what I have been seeing on Facebook, Bill has been going back and forth to the hospital a lot.

For Bill. He's talking about Bill's health to try to make money for Bill. Anytime you can purchase a Code Red title from Dark Force, more of that cash goes to Bill, not as much as when Bill was able to run his own store, but a good portion. Paid upfront or after the fact, either way, Bill gets paid.

Anytime you can buy a Code Red title from an authorized vendor, such as Ronin or Screen Archives or Diabolik or Hamilton, he gets a varying amount of money from that, but a decent amount in all cases. He sells stock to vendors who pay him for that stock and this is how he makes a living. Amazon appears to be the lowest, in terms of what he gets to keep on physical media, but, even there, he gets paid. They give him a much higher portion of digital sales and a nice chunk of change for the Prime Video contract on his digital library. All of that is a good thing, not a bad thing.

Insurance doesn't pay for everything and, even if it did, he'd still have to support himself. Given his health issues, it has become important for him to try to sell more of his stock to finance his care and no one here should be holding that against him.

Sadly I don't think Bill's health is going to get any better. Look at his Facebook page. Seems like it's nothing but bad eating choices and trips to the hospital. He really needs to start eating better and getting more exercise. I've been doing that myself lately, and can feel the difference. Even though I'm a thinner dude. Hopefully it's not too late if he does try to make it to a healthier lifestyle. Rooting for his recovery regardless.

I ordered a film from the Dark Force website for the first time ever on 6th April. They sent it out to me on 9th April, and finally, after 2 months, it arrived on my doorstep today.

I appreciate their customer service and parcel tracking service. Cheers, Dark Force guys!

Thanks Blu and welcome back. The new high def on ATOR looks great by the way. I really hope your mother is feeling better. That is far more important than any of this. DD

This is correct. He really thinks Bill doesn't make a ton of money from Dark Force selling all of his movies. And yes it's a known fact he has dire health issues. Go look at what he just posted on his Facebook page under William Olsen. He's been in the hospital now for over a week. He needs every dime we and all the others mentioned can get him.
