Does anyone know if Screenbound have a current deal with HMV?

I'm hoping that the Satan's Claw Ltd Edition might be a bit cheaper from them. I didn't see their Black House releases of The Devil's Nightmare or Dracula's Fiancee in the store that I visited recently, so I'm a bit dubious as to whether they're even stocking Screenbound titles any more. Any help would be appreciated.

Abby Parsons Hi Chris, unfortunately we're not dealing with HMV or FOPP at the moment.

Thanks, that explains the lack of new titles then.

Dispatched from Zavvi to me and received by quite a few here so this is rather odd.

The title card switch isn't really an issue for me but it would have been nice to have the option.

A bit odd there's an Inseminoid trailer on there though
I was actually about to ask if anyone had compared the new edition to the old Odeon Blu-ray, so it's definitely worth the upgrade then?

Agreed. Amazon lists as released 10th June - and my second pre-order (as per my post yesterday) is due on the 17th.

I guess Screenbound are sending Amazon stock a week late... and Amazon are then sending out to customers via drip feed, LOL.

^^ I received a "shipped" notice from Zavvi yesterday (to Canada).
VERY excited to finally get this after such a long wait!

Amazon get delivery before release date most retailers do
Will depend on credit terms the retailer has with the supplier
Retailers usually get delivery 1 week before release and sometimes 2 weeks before
Suppliers sometimes have with delivery to retailers marked not to be sold until release date
Some have no restrictions and can be sold whenever retailer likes

Amazon UK don't do early shipping like Zavvi and some other retailers

Zavvi as soon as stock is at warehouse start preparing orders for dispatch
Zavvi also have this listed as release date June 10th as that is the official release date provided by the distributor

Some releases have release date restriction applied by the distributor as in not to be delivered before release date (Disney have this on some releases at various times)

Amazon UK go by release date even if they got delivery of stock 1-2 weeks before release date and debit cards usually 1-2 days before release date with shipping from Saturday/Sunday/Monday
(UK most but not all get delivery on Release Date)
Some pre orders are shipped after release date depending on your location and available courier for collection of parcels
Some UK customers on occasions can have payment taken on a Friday for pre orders and delivered on Saturday/Sunday

My copy arrived from Screenbound this morning. Number 3556 of 4000!

Fortunately, my OCD doesn't stretch to low numbers on LEs*. I dare say I'd get a lower numbered one if I bought it instore in HMV.

*Unless I get number 666 or 69

I'm a fervent advocate for discussion boards being boards where you can, well, "discuss" instead of just being a succession of monologues, but maybe that's just me.

If you look, there is a Sept 1970 submission date, and I would think that precedes a US certification from the MPAA.

Don't forget the US Rated print was rather bluntly censored as well.

Guess I should have kept my pre-order from Feb, LOL.

My Thursday (06th) order is still not moving - I guess sending to a locker will take even longer
