Default Pixar pre-orders - what is taking Amazon so long?

I have been told that other sites are taking pre-orders for Disney's Pixar films, yet Amazon is not yet allowing that option. Any ideas on what's taking so long?

I thought I had read somewhere that Disney was "opening" retailer pre-orders on the 24th. I assume that person meant 24 of August. So that's probably why.

Oh, if that is the case I guess we have a few more days until we can pre-order all of the films from this site. Thanks for clearing that up.

The sellsheets all specify an embargo till the 24th on listing or taking orders

Anyone see the teaser for Ratatouille on Wild Hogs? Holy crap does that look AWESOME! BUT! I did notice color banding in the Pixar Logo, so hopefully that will be fixed by the time they release the actual Blu-Ray. I am pretty sure it will be since the directors are actually supervising the transfers. I can't imagine them wanting their animation being plagued by banding.

Default Pixar Shorts delayed says Amazon.com?

Email from amazon today saying that the Pixar Shorts delayed. New date of Jan. 2020 which I surmise is a placeholder.

Anyone else heard some news?

I have two of Cars and Ratatoulle on preorder also. No panic on those. Just wondering if those ordering from other online suppliers have similar notices.

I got the email that I had to reconfirm due to a change (for my pre-order), but it still shows November 6, 2007 as the release date when I look at it...

I just checked my pre-order and it shows no delay. Shows November 6 2007, plus the Amazon web site still says Nov 6.

That may have been an error. I'm still showing this as a 11/6 release date. I also went to Amazon and they are also still showing this as a 11/6 release date.

Maybe they just decided CAB wasn't allowed to get it until 2020.

January 2020 huh?

I wont have any blu rays by that time! I would have probably the generation after blu-ray format... Disney save your money! dont bother releasing it that late!
