Damsel?! Oh man, did it even get a theatrical release? Universal are really slacking these days. I reckon that could’ve been an HMV exclusive if anything.

Moonlight was an Oscar winner so I doubt eOne would skip a Blu-ray of that. Idiots if they do.

Not surprising, it looks like it’ll be a bust at the box office.

Still hoping a quiet drop of Sorry To Bother You on Blu next week in HMV.

I know a lot of people did not like Welcome to Marwen and with it bombing at the box office. So I was worried that it would not get a Blu Ray release happy to see it's coming out in May. I really enjoyed it I think I am the only one who did.

Universal strikes YET AGAIN with Boy Erased, thankfully the US release is Region A/B from the database. Guess every queer conversion therapy film or every other Focus Features film is destined for DVD only?

A couple of forthcoming releases have no Blu-Ray showing on Amazon - Can You Ever Forgive me? and All Is True. I wonder if HMV are going to start getting exclusives, or these just aren't coming to the UK on blu...

Modern Films will be releasing Happy as Lazzaro as a DVD only title on 29th July. There’s Blu-ray editions out there in Italy, Germany and Spain, but I doubt they carry English subs.

I also noticed An Elephant Sitting Still was released as DVD only - I can’t imagine what the compression is like considering its 230 min running time!

Yeah Modern Films are yet to release anything on Blu-ray, Border is another one not getting a Blu-ray release.

I see Eighth Grade finally got a UK theatrical release, but no sign of a Blu-ray pre-order yet.

I noticed that the Sky Store preorder has a Bluray Buy-&-Keep option so I think it is coming, although I suppose that could change.

The Durrells is only (and had so far) getting a DVD boxset of series 1-4 in the UK, even the first two series has Bluray releases in the US via BBC Worldwide.

They upgrade their film cameras, film in some of the most beautiful locations, then release on DVD, it really boogles the mind and explains why some just go download from torrents in HD when companies dont even bother to offer this stuff when other series from the same company are getting the Bluray treatment.

I think they released Manifesto on Blu (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Manif...lu-ray/193222/) - not sure it would have been a big seller for them though, and might have put them off further releases. Which isn't ideal. Border was very good and Happy as Lazzaro was supposed to be excellent.

I would have thought Unfriended Dark Web would have been released on blu-ray. Horror normally sells well. Universal, out of all other studios have released so many DVD only titles over the past year.

I assume The Sisters Brothers isn't getting a Blu-ray release, which is shit news. That is unless HMV do an exclusive, but they seem to have slowed on those since their rescue.

Might be worth a boutique label asking to acquire some of these and doing their own release, maybe even doing some extras for them.

Border, Under the Silver Lake and Suspiria are getting Blu-ray releases this year (via MUJI).

The US Blu Ray release of The Sisters Brothers is region free. The film is also being released on Blu Ray in Australia.

I was thinking this, with Second Sight doing collectors editions of In Bruges and Take Shelter, it sort of seems worthwhile them offering boutique options to current films that are getting shafted.
