Custom Cover Art Thread

Here's a couple of covers I made for Red Meance's HD recreations for the american versions of some Godzilla films.





And here's one for a HD recreation for the AIP version of Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster but it can also be used for the official releases too.



And a cover for Godzilla: King Of The Monsters. (the american version of the original film, not the new film)

I had a couple of Blus get soaked in the rain, so I was wondering if anyone had some customs for the following:

-Romancing The Stone

-The Verdict

-Images (the Arrow release ).

I would pay for any printing and shipping costs, of course.

My first attempt at making a cover from scratch, that I don't think is complete dogshit. lol



Also, I've been trying to figure out the best way to make Slipcovers. It's proving to be a real pain, and there's not many helpful tips or guides online for it. My first couple attempts turned out okay, not totally satisfied, but I think it's going to be a printer related issue I'm experiencing and I'll just have to pony up the big bucks to get the quality kind of Slips I'm looking for.

But here's what I've been working on with that, Retro ripoffs of what Millcreek is doing:

Thanks man. I'm open to any criticisms or tips. I was just tired of slapdashing covers together when I can't find them online, using less than stellar sources. So I figured I'll start making them from scratch when I can't easily find them online.

Speaking of, I just got the Billy Madison/Happy Gilmore 2pack, so I threw this one together. Based mostly on the previous retail cover.

Thanks man! I've actually done the 16 films released since 1985 (including the 1998 and 2014 American films) and posted earlier in the thread, but to save you a search, they're included in the quote below. They're in the style of Sony's re-releases of the Hesei and Millennium films. Haven't tackled the Showa films yet (as many aren't on Blu-ray). However, once Criterion announces their long-rumored box set, I may make a matching set for those films, too.

I do have a mock-up of KOTM (2019) ready and will finalize and post it once it's announced for home video.

So I picked up that Mark Wahlberg 2pack the other day for Four Brothers. Couldn't seem to find artwork for either. So I slapped these two together quick.
Not super happy with either, but ehh, it'll do in a pinch. And just in case anyone else is in the same boat:

Exactly. Nothing beats original. I remember wondered the very same thing when blu was released, it really is one of the most horrible cover one can imagine.

Not gonna lie, the spine is a little squished. Which may be what's giving the illusion that the front is as well. I made sure at least the front and back were to scale with the VHS. I'll fix the spine and update it.
