So I compared the Special features on this release to the special features on the original DVDs, and everything seems to be here with possibly the exception of these two from the complete series bonus disc:

But does anyone know where these special features were originally released?

The Eerie Mystery of the Scooby-Doo History: This featurette talks about the beginnings of Scooby-Doo and how the show came to exist from the point of view of the executives and creative team behind the show.

The Scooby-Doo Gang: In Their Own Words: This featurette talks about the original voice cast of Scooby-Doo and how they originated the characters’ distinctive voices.

Are they just the two listed above but with new names? Or are they special features ported over from the Dynomutt hour set? Because that seems quite odd.

Good thing the separate DVD releases came in a different packaging compared to the later gift packaging.

At least in the case of BTAS, the standard edition was released a month later.

That was probably because the 70,000 sold out (or at least got very close) though.

I am very excited for this release! While the case may not be retro in the same way the Mystery Machine packaging was, minus the Funko I think it’s very kooky and attractive! Scooby is my number one favorite cartoon/franchise so I will definitely be picking this up. I already own the large Scooby-Doo! Encyclopedia, and I doubt they’ll do anything exclusive in it with this release so that is kind of a bummer.

I hope we get Zombie Island, Witch’s Ghost, and Alien Invaders on Blu-ray in the near future. I want all movies and shows on Blu-ray of course, but those are the top priority in my book.

Sucks that a ton of the price probably goes towards the digital copy too. Surely most fans (I know I did) bought the HD versions digitally way back when they were originally released so we shouldn't have to pay for it again.

The biggest problem i have with the packaging is the funko pop. I will wait for a standard edition which will hopefully include the same bonus features minus the hideous Funko.

I just want a nice case with a slipcover that I can place next to The New Scooby-Doo Movies. It wouldn't bother me so much if they hadn't already released that one in nice regular packaging.

There's actually 3 seasons included here, the last one being what is technically Season 3 of The Scooby-Doo Show. All of these seasons have been available in HD for years though, the only HD evidence of The Flintstones to surface has been 2 Season 1 episodes on the WWE Blu-ray, but that's probably all already been done in HD too. I'd prefer if WAC got it, but it might be in WHV's hands sadly for a big clunky 60th anniversary set full of junk with not enough discs to cater for it.

Here's hoping this one doesn't have sync issues and that the episodes are actually uncut.

I missed that when looking at the press release. Didn't think they would include what was called Season 3 but really is another show altogether. Does anyone happen to know if the other shows that made up The Scooby-Doo Show are available in HD?
