Boring, uninspired and generally disappointing. But yeah, it wasn't flat out bad the way that something like MiB: International was.

I'm one of the few that prefers the sequel, with Furlong.

The original though, my first cat, Bowie, lost her XXXX when Churchill hissed that first time. She was sleeping on my lap at the time. It freaked her out. And that was back in the old days, on garbage VHS, stereo TV. Geez, I miss her.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I currently have a ginger cat.Sometimes I give him steak or chicken and when I do I tell him "Today's thanksgiving day for cats".

I thought this movie was above average, but not by a whole lot. Enjoyed it a bit more than US. The cast is certainly not untalented at all. John Lithgow is a phenomenal actor.

That is too funny. Made my day.

I wasn’t bored, and I wouldn’t exactly say it was disappointing. I wasn’t expecting much of anything from this, so I thought its ‘okay-ness’ was a pleasant surprise. Of course, that’s bound to happen when you go in with the mental expectation bar set so low.

Objectively, I would say this film was just average. It wasn’t great, it wasn’t bad, but it was squarely in the middle. There are worse ways to spend your time, but when the original exists, I see very little replay value in this.

I’ll add this to my collection at some point but I’m not in a hurry.

Whenever I think about this film, I’m reminded of that ridiculous
[Show spoiler]undead ballet dancing
scene and cringe from secondhand embarrassment for everyone involved.

The Cast is just untalented. Th Director is less ambitious than Mary Lambert. The gore make up is no better than the original. Ramones are better than a cover Ramones band. The Twist /Switch was nice but then the ending is the same for all intents and purposes, but the original had you think it out which was more mentally stimulating. There's nothing memorable here unlike the Original.

Ridiculous, Jason Clarke and John Lithgow are both way better actors than anyone in the original (aside from Fred Gwynne perhaps).
