Nah, and quite honestly, I’m not sure if I want to go that route with them or Frito Lau. I’ve got a promising phone interview tomorrow that sounds like a perfect fit making home deliveries. Fingers crossed that goes well. I heard these lines today in a song and it so resonated with me. ‘Give me a job, give me security. Give me a chance to survive!’

So,......I did something unusual early this morning. Around 1am I woke up and decided to download my free McAfee antivirus through my internet provider. I figured that if I call customer service, the wait time wouldn’t be too long. Plus, my McAfee was going to expire soon and I did not want to pay $100-plus for another yearly subscription.
First step: 1- create a new account via Spectrum 2- first problem- a Hotmail address was linked to my account, even though I did not ever had a Hotmail email ![]() 3- called customer service for assistance and they removed email, but I had to wait 30-minutes for changes 4- logged onto my account and was told to input new TWC email that was created w/password. ![]() 5- had no clue what my password was and was able to create new password by getting verification code thru my telephone 6- Clicked on McAfee and waited for it to uninstall, download and reinstall my new antivirus. ![]() Finally! Everything was setup and running perfectly. By this time, it was around 3:30am. Less than 3 hours until I get ready for work. Was it worth it? Kinda, since I got my free antivirus. ![]() ![]() Now, I am dead tired. |

Why not just get a Mac? I haven’t use antivirus in years, I’ve also never had a virus since switching to a Mac.

Well, I’d be driving a company truck. So not sure how many tunes I’d be listening to in between my routes? Interview went well. Have a face to face interview on Monday. With a potential to shadow study a driver that day or another if that goes well. I’d rather not do that latter one and jump into training as soon as possible, but I’ll go through the motions until I’m hired on. Something I love is it plays to my strengths and working with existing customers. So cautiously optimistic.

I have the cheap Hulu with commercials because they were offering it for $1 several months ago. Sometimes the audio is faster the video and this happens a lot. I looked it up to see what I could do, and apparently there isn't anything I can do. Some people suspect Hulu does it on purpose to make you buy a higher-tier subscription. That sounds silly, but I've noticed the commercials are never out of sync.

I read so many stories about how customers receive full refunds and get to keep damaged items, receive free months of Prime, $25 dollar credits, etc. from Amazon when their orders arrived damaged, but this has never once happened to me. I've been ordering from them since 2011 and I can't get them ever budge on giving me some sort of compensation. Anyone else?

I really don't get what I'm doing wrong. For the heck of it, I was over exaggerating about how a damaged item was a gift for "my 10 year old son and he is so upset", went on about it for another sentence or two... and nothing. Two different workers too.
I don't have a son btw, wanted to see if it would work on them. |

I ordered some chocolate from Amazon and they shipped it with a cold pack that leaked all over. Even the shipping box was half-soaked. I contacted customer service to tell them about this and they offered me a full refund. I told them that even though the shipping box and chocolate box were both heavily soaked, the chocolate was fine and I just wanted to warn them about what happened. They still gave me a $5 credit.

Second interview tomorrow. Might turn into a shadow day if all goes well. Also have an interview with Frito Lay the following Wednesday. Still no word from Pepsi, but I’m not sure I want to work for any company that can’t follow through in the interview stage. Doesn’t make me all warm and fuzzy.
