The F5ing on a weeknight waiting to snatch a copy before the store goes down tho

I fear for my mental health if Bill ever manages to release Fatal Games and it’s slapped with a custom cover and limited to 1000

I watched "The Dead Pit" on blu ray today. It looked pretty nice overall. I did notice a few compression artifacts( i.e. banding, pixelation) in some backgrounds during the movie, but it could be my equipment. "Point Doom" on blu ray looked very good with no real issues that I could spot.

"THE LATEST: Here is what we now know as of 2:00am P.S.T. at Dark Force. The Dark Force Superstore is gearing up to open sometime tomorrow afternoon. We are expecting a record turnout and sell out of the DEAD PIT Collector's Edition and associated bundles. There will be a strictly enforced limitation imposed on DEAD PIT of 2 PER ORDER.
Dark Force is expected to have all of the previous orders in the mail by Monday. There will be approximately 300 DEAD PITS available divided up between the individual and bundle sales. There will be further information prior to the store opening earlier tomorrow afternoon. Thank You and Best of Luck to everyone. Management:

Yeah no kidding. I think I'll likely pass now and order some more films from Arrow or Diabolik.

Instead of dividing the remaining quantity up into pre-divided bundles, DF should really let customers create their own bundles. Either with discount codes only good for pre-determined titles or automatically add the discount when said titles have been added to the customer's cart.

But then they would never sell any copies of Point Doom

I would blind buy this at twenty bucks if it were available, with just the hype and the slip. But the price and storefront antics are a dealbreaker.

How does Other Label Mondo Macabro sell limited releases with lobby cards, slips, and booklets for $22 with a storefront that stays open? Couldn't Dark Force keep the lights on with a similar business model?

Does that mean the store should be open today or tomorrow? Since it was posted at 2AM Sunday, "tomorrow" could be taken to mean Monday. But I suspect they mean Sunday.

?

Last 3 "limited red case" editions which did not have a slipcover (but did have booklet) from MM were $25/ea + $5-$10 shipping depending how many titles you buy. So DF charging about $5-$10 more here, though I'd argue in terms of swag a glow in the dark slip is more fun than a booklet (which I'd never read TBH)

To each their own I suppose, but I can’t imagine preferring a Slipcover to a booklet. It has, you know, information in there.

I can understand that viewpoint, however I generally don't watch extras or read the info booklets. If I want info on a movie I'll usually look it up on the web or YouTube, not on the disc or accompanied pamphlet. So if I had to pick between the two I'd pick the visual flair over the booklet.
