We wanted to do something different than a booklet which is way more common. I can't imagine DEAD PIT getting this kind of attention and business had we done a booklet over the very unique customized slipcover.

I agree that from a business perspective if slipcovers drive more sales than booklets, then of course include slipcovers. I needn’t point out to this audience what that strategy has done for Vinegar Syndrome, and I like their slipcovers but I’d trade them happily for an essay or booklet.

If you're really interesting in swag that sells you should check out how Arrow do their limited editions. Hard boxes with the movies poster, a booklet and sometimes a soundtrack. A Dead Pit poster would've been a nice addition.

...and if you're really interested in driving sales, you could, like... have items available for sale?

I just ordered The Dead Pit Collector's Edition. It's a pricy Blu-ray, but the process was hassle-free this time.

Mondo Macabro’s red case limited editions deserve to be on that list too. Even though they’ve dabbled with slips, I’d put them more on the booklet side.

There are about 30 individual dead pit copies left and 30 of each dead pit bundle give or take 5.

Edit: individuals gone still bundles left

Though in fairness glow in the dark slipcovers are rare. I know Grindhouse Releasing did one recently not sure who else.

Indicator has booklets on first runs as well I believe. At least the titles I’ve purchased.

Why is it that you can’t purchase it separately? You have to get it as apart of a bundle

The $50 Point Doom Bundle and the $100 Multi film bundle is still available. Sadly I have no interest in either so it looks like No Dead Pit for me yet again.

I feel like it's BS games like this which will help to expedite Physical Media's decline and/or encourage rampant piracy. Thank goodness no one else runs their business like this. The Gold Bundle is a solid deal if you are wanting even half the films included but since I already have what I want from that Bundle it's of no use to me.

I'd wager that the actual number put up for sale was in the neighborhood of 15 - 20 though 100 sold in 15 minutes makes for much better marketing.

So I can assume the other 200 are in the two bundles.

Hmm... 21 Magnums and 21 2-Pacs still available.
