Personal anecdote but VS for example. Due to quality of product and customer service, not to mention consistent store hours... I visit frequently and try out titles I never thought I would, like Pets and A Climax of Blue Power

I’ve never done that at DF.
It's feast or famine, and people eventually get sick of famine and go elsewhere for a meal.

Still wounded on right hand. unable to pack like the old days.

DeFalco wanted DEAD PIT and paid $15,000 so he can do a limited 1,000 pressing. Not rich like you chris. got medical bills so I took the high offer. overseas pays dirt tiny pennies, so took the big offer..

So DeFalco made a cool $20,000 profit on Dead Pit with just the limited edition. The take from the sale of the future regular edition (non-LE) is yet to be determined. Nice. Scalpers will remain the backbone of DF's business. Hey, it's money in the bank, right?

Maybe sell it to Ronin or Diabolik, you know, one of those places that doesn't try to scam customers and are open 24/7.

Well you are forgetting credit card / PayPal processing fees BUT, keep in mind the LE was also used to drive sales of bundled titles that might not have sold as much otherwise.

Life is always first - no doubt about it. Take care of yourself, Bill.

No they don't. Code Red does a lot better Dark Force than Ronin or Diabolik. But does that come as a big surprise?

Which big surprise? They're open 24/7. They don't berate their customers. They don't intentionally sell to scalpers. The only (little) surprise is that you actually believe the statement you made above.

p.s. I also vividly remember why I hate "pro" wrestling so much.

The Dark Force storefront is open again with a limited batch of The Dead Pit! For those that haven't placed an order, now's your chance!

Yeah, I think the only copies available are apart of a combo pack with Point Doom currently.

I went ahead and went with the bundle. Point Doom looks halfway decent, and I am looking forward to Dead Pit. Order #3661

“Hassle free” as in...
I just happened to click on my Dark Force bookmark on my iPhone at the right moment, saw a non-bundle edition of Dead Pit available, added it to my cart, and bought it.

I’m not a fan of the business model setup either, but I got lucky this time.

I’ve had a decidedly unlucky week on the medical front, but at least I scored a Blu-ray without much trouble.

I received my Dead Pit yesterday. As per instructions not to get fingerprints on the slip, I opened the package wearing this:
