If we ever take another trip I may take you up on that. Honestly though that figure was accounted for months ago, bulk of it was our wedding before we even left New York, and Saturday's round trip to Virginia when I picked up her grandmother. I'm actually really interested in finding out how you can spend a week at Disneyland for <$3000 though, when I was researching Disney World vacation a week was upwards of 4000$. That included Disney lodging, their fastpass or whatever they call it to avoid lines for rides, and a meal plan all week. Low end of around $500 but we were on our own for food and off park grounds

Doing some multitasking tonight... drinking some wine and watching Little (2019) with The Lady, while we pack up our apartment, and getting my camping/fishing gear ready for the trip up to the mountains with the kiddo.

Sitting here wondering how this week without my wife is going to go with my son and MiL. It doesn’t help her and I are on shakey ground. I’ll admit, I’m not helping the situation, but I’m tired of everyone getting a pass while I’m being called on shit. So I’m going to apologize in advance gang. Because I expect nothing but a constant struggle starting Saturday

Up early to do some more packing since we plan on having a big moving day on Saturday and I'm taking the kiddo camping tonight and tomorrow. I wonder what my wife will be doing the next two days, with 95% of our belongings already in boxes, since she won't be joining us on this camping trip

Sitting in the front room listening to one of my Spotify daily mixes. I took a run through of new jobs and applied to a couple more. I received another “Thank you for applying, but...” last night. On the bright side, I do have an interview tomorrow. So at least I’m getting out there. I just wish more were getting back to me. Even a rejection is something.

I FINALLY just had time (now that I finished up a BS long-term corporate training program) to go through a bunch of months old e-mails where I got set up with access to various systems/tools/etc. and actually log onto the systems, create folders, save bookmarks etc. and it feels SO GOOD. My Outlook inbox is now down to less than half a page. I had almost forgotten what that much real estate even looked like.

Sitting here having a drink and wishing they were hitting harder. I’m sorry for anyone who read my half rant in another thread, but I’m about to lose my shit. It is almost 2300 and no one is close to going to bed. My wife waited until this evening to wrap up the last of our son’s school work earlier. Then he ask if he could have a shower before bed.

Top it off with a cherry, they are going to the movies tomorrow to see Toy Story 4 with his friend and I assume their mom. I’ve been trying real hard not to spend any money unnecessarily, but I might go and see Far from Home once I wrap up my interview tomorrow or while she’s out of town. Let her mom watch him. Because I’m at wits end.
