I picked up SF's recent release for The Entity a few hours ago and watched it and it's a great blu ray! Such a great underrated film too.

Would only surprise me if they release all of the Friday movies uncut. Otherwise they can keep em.

Why not both rated AND unrated?

It appears that April Fool's Day is getting a release from Shock Cinema. I'm seriously starting to wonder if SF might have a Paramount deal...

Hopefully. I don't know which other of Jeff's favourites have yet to be released. But it does make you wonder - they've had deals with various studios for a decent while now - MGM, Fox, Universal, Sony, Warner - and unless he's referring to double dip CE's that were previously out-of-bounds to them, I might be inclined to think that a sizeable door previously closed to them has now been forced open, allowing them access to some notable titles (including some of Jeff's favourites) for the first time (doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who or what I am referring to here...)

That said, a second Warner deal would also fit the bill, especially given that Jeff cites Eyes of a Stranger and Killer Party as favourites here. Happy Birthday To Me and When A Stranger Calls also pop-up, and they always seemed realistic prospects for CE's at some point. Elsewhere I've seen him cite The Fury, which seems a realistic bet via the Fox deal. And in another interview, he had this to say about 'dream' titles:

Critters. Now for me personally I have been spoiled. I have had some of my all time favorite films come out here like The Fog, The Sentinel, and Halloween III. But I would still love for us to get Alligator. Alligator is a personal favorite of mine. I love that movie with a passion. I would love Warner to unlock Al Pacino’s Cruising, which is not your typical Scream Factory title, but it’s a slasher film, lets be honest. It’s pretty hardcore. That would be a great title to get. Those are the two at the top of my list, but Hell Night would be a great one as well. Hell Night is a great one that deserves some love that is like “Why isn’t that out on blu-ray already?”
Interesting that he mentions Paramount and (more) Warner titles here. I wouldn't be that surprised to see Fright Night: Part II announced given Severin said it was with a label.

What about StudioCanal? Aren't there some minor gems still MIA? Thinking of Narrow Margin, Near Dark and Blue Steel among others.

It seems almost certain they have Road Games, given that the Kino Insider said it was with another label, and it's a title I'm expecting them to announce at SDCC.

Narrow Margin I'm quite sure is with Kino, all the indications are pointing towards that right now, we just have to be patient.

Near Dark is NOT with StudioCanal in North America.

Is Blue Steel a StudioCanal title in North America? Amazon say MGM, which is strange as I would have thought some US label would have released it by now.

As for other SC titles, beyond Road Games and a few more Hammer titles, I don't really know what else they could have, other than maybe some titles which are definitely not with Kino (Theatre of Death, Twisted Nerve, maybe The Johnsons). It looks like Kino have most of the other known horror titles (including Murder By Decree, The Antichrist, Homebodies and Deep Star Six).
