I thought there was and cast last year. I seem to recall some folks posting about it as the panel was going on.

There are 3 new Neca figures coming from Scream that will be announced on Saturday.
At 15.10 Not sure if it means the "They Live, Halloween 3 and Decker" figures though.

EYES OF A STRANGER would be huge for me. Such a great cat-and-mouse thriller.

Willing to bet that Narrow Margin and Extreme Prejudice are announced by Kino early next year.

They posted somewhere they can not live stream it due to licensing issues.

I'm thinking they might be something to do with The Terminator (I believe they've done Terminator figures in the past, as well as for the new film?) and Big Trouble in Little China, but admittedly I've no idea what the figure-world rights situation is with these. As for the other, maybe Harry Warden indeed?

Whatever the situation, this should mean that all 3 could be November titles (the only ones which will go up for pre-order straight away, otherwise why let people know they will be bundled with NECA figures at such an early stage? Unless that's what they meant by 'other surprises') That being said, it would be a pretty expensive month for interested parties if that turned out to be the case.

EDIT: I found this recent tweet by NECA on the subject of Big Trouble in Little China figures. So Jack Burton would potentially be a no-go, but failing that I imagine Lo Pan would still be a popular choice.

Not to derail the Scream thread but I wish Kino would step it up a bit. Most of the Kino stuff I'm anticipating isn't due until "late this year or 2020". Stick, Iceman, Cannibal Apocalypse, all not due for months.

yeah i guess the lead up time on a figure would rule out BTILC or The Thing. Shame. I tell you what would be cool... the 3 ages of Damien from the first 3 "Omen" movies but that will never happen.

They release about 20-25 titles a month, not sure how else they could 'step it up a bit' lol.

This almost looks like a "Hey, here's your answer on why releases cost so much." Hopefully addresses some of the recurring complaints we've seen around here.

I don't wanna sound like a bell end here but don't Scream just face the same challenges as other labels who don't charge as much?

I seem to get a lot of criticism for requesting multiple titles that are already on Blu-ray. Let me explain:

As a collector, I want the best possible version of a movie that comes out. That is why I love most of the Collector's Editions that are released. There is familiarity among the horror community with these titles. They are titles that used to have only a bare bones release. I love when the film gets a new scan as well as new bonus features. And lets not forget the slipcovers with the newly commissioned art.

Most people say that they'd rather have titles not on blu instead of double dip titles. I agree....BUT, there is not much more horror titles that I would personally like to come to blu-ray besides Alone in the Dark and Alligator. Most of the titles I want not on blu yet are comedy films that hopefully Shout Select or other niche labels can release.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

I figure at most they might announce at most one or if I'm very very lucky two titles I want. I'm just not a collector anymore I'm a buy only the titles that I watch over and over and over guy now. That leaves very few I could possibly want. If it's ones I already have that qualify It would take a lot to sway me to buy another copy of it. A couple extras or a slipcover or art won't do it. Might be swayed by additional scenes or cut but that's about it. I also don't feel that a new scan would be worth it because most barely show a difference (I don't need to see a few extra pores on anyone's face).

I think it depends on the release/movie. If a movie has an outdated transfer, and no special features, then I think it's worth it to re-release some films. Why not get the best possible audio/visual presentation of a film with supplements that improve the enjoyment of the feature? Scream Factory just has its fans who want them to release movies like Halloween (1979) that already have stacked releases with reference or near reference audio/video. The only thing Scream would do to the release is provide original artwork for it, which I am not a big fan of.

I still prefer that they release 2:1 movies that haven't seen a blu ray release before vs re-releases. There are so many great movies out there that haven't seen the light of day beyond DVD, VHS or even their initial theatrical run. I want those to be released before Scream releases Jaws.
