Since there hasn't been a 5.1 mix for Flight of the Navigator created to date (even the US Disney DVD was Dolby 2.0), I don't think that Second Sight is the kind of outfit that has the resources to commission one themselves.
That's not such a bad thing though, as it's usually much better to faithfully represent the source materials provided by the licensor than to make a mess out of things by trying to "improve" them. |

The most amazing thing about the original blu-ray release was that it actually presented the film properly for the first time. The Cinema Club release was absolutely terrible. You know you have a problem when the BBC airings and video releases have better picture quality than DVD.
