Scalpers play the game where they list it as a pre-order and keep bumping the date after each shipping period expires. Idiots are the victims to these scalpers.

Are glow in the dark slipcovers really the new gimmick for Dark Force? Using it for Dead Pit barely made sense. Now using it for Ator makes zero sense and is a really bad excuse to charge a higher asking price.

I don't get the glow in the dark gimmick. Who is sitting in the dark holding a bluray?

Based on the clip posted it looks like it was sourced from a middling-quality release film print. What evidence do you have to imply otherwise? Or is this just an attempt to cause trouble?

I actuallt wanted to see Dead Pit and picked it up because I can’t imagine anyone else releasing it. The glow gimmick was of no consequence to me, but, it made sense well enough for that title. ATOR makes no sense with that gimmick, and now I can get the title elsewhere for super cheap. Plus, the Dead Pit slip was the same quality as a regular Code Red slip, plus some rough embossing work and a little gloss. I can’t imagine that the cost to produce that was much more than any of their other slips.

A good booklet doesn’t have readily available information elsewhere, they are often commissioned specifically for the film’s release. If they are however, 90% pictures, then yes they are as useless as a glow in the dark slipcover. |
