Bullshit! It is a great show! It may be a bit dated and campy by later standards, but it's a milestone in television history and in science fiction in general, along with the original The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. Great, intelligent, thought provoking writing. Only those who have small ignorant minds and a disregard for the past would dismiss the brilliance of Star Trek: The Original Series.

And I don't even consider myself a Trekkie/Trekker. I'm just a fan of great science fiction.
