It is that easy. Netflix went the ad free route but they have the base now to go ad supported. They could even have both.

That’s the way they will go if thy find themselves up against it. There is a limit to what people will pay for a buffet service.

Please elaborate with ‘in the box’. I presumed you meant that cable and telco will pull in The reins but Netflix are too big for that. They have found a way to combat such problems and they will continue to combat any issues.

Not just the UK, everywhere. Part of the issue lies with the media (sensationalistic headlines peak more interest), part of it is subject matter ( foods are complex (why there are ingredient lists and nutritional tables and so are people for example something might be healthy for one person but someone else can die form eating i9t if he has a food allergy) aqnd there is marketing.

so for example butter vs margarine, pay for researcher on X (benefits for your side) , get wanted results, publish butter or margarine has (more or less) x and that is good for you. news "scientists find that margarine/butter is the healthy choice."

you don't need conspiracy theories, it is just marketing over science.

on the other hand not everything is food where results are a lot more unknown and questionable.

I've always held the opinion that any food in moderation is perfectly OK.

agree. honestly my opinion is that for most people and in most cases stress from making sure you eat the right things to keep you healthy has more of a damaging effect then eating the wrong thing

but isn't that the issue at hand. If I buy a copy of a film it is my stuff it is my stuff. Let me ask you this if your car manufacturer decide "hey maybe we should have sold that car without a motor" would it be OK for them to alter their stuff, and take the motor out of your car?

You could say the same thing about the forum members here on blu-ray.com, many of whom post prolifically. This website is a form of social media and many of us spend a whole lot of time here.

It’s hardly the same. I’m not skipping through content to post in here. I can pay attention to an entire series, unlike many millions of millennials.

Netflix 4K is totally watchable but physical media is still unmatched, especially for lossless sound. My favorite series and films are on physical media. Stranger Things, Jack Ryan, The Widow, etc. I stream.

You read every post in every thread that you visit? You have read all 16,358 posts in this thread alone? That's some real commitment there...if you know what I mean by "commitment" here.

Even if that disputed statistic were true, there was no information given about the demographics of who may have skipped that episode, just speculation. You are doing nothing here but showing your contempt for millenials yet again. All we know, at most, is that some people did not watch that episode with a TV. Neilsen only tracks TV viewership.

I am watching From Earth To The Moon currently. I watch four one hour episodes per night just like the typical viewing session of most people who stream, but lest you object to my streaming content again, I am watching my blu-ray edition of this excellent program. I have four episodes left to watch and I will be done tonight.

Attention span limitations aren't keeping me from resuming with Fire Walk With Me, the blu-ray is still on my table as a reminder, I just keep finding other things that interest me more. And I'm out of pie.

So, the audio is nice. Is the content itself impressive? I have not seen any of this show.
