Some have already been released on Blu, some will have legal issues, some I'm not sure are even with Paramount, and I've almost certainly forgot some (like TV movies perhaps?). Definitely a lot of CE potential here:

[Show spoiler]When Worlds Collide
War of the Worlds
The Naked Jungle
Conquest of Space
I Married a Monster from Outer Space

Blood and Roses
Lady in a Cage
The Vulture
The Penthouse
No Way to Treat a Lady
Danger: Diabolik
Targets

Unman, Wittering and Zigo
The Possession of Joel Delaney
Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter
Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell
Bug
Lipstick
The Tenant
King Kong
Orca
The Shadow of Chikara

Dragonslayer
The Dead Zone
Fighting Back
The Keep
(I know)
Explorers
Young Sherlock Holmes
April Fool's Day
The Golden Child

Graveyard Shift
Tales from the Darkside
Intruders (TV)
Fire in the Sky
The Langoliers (TV)
Rumpelstiltskin
Vampire in Brooklyn
The Ghost and the Darkness
Breakdown
Night of the Demons 3
Switchback
Ringu
The Haunting
Ringu 2

Ringu 0
What Lies Beneath
Domestic Disturbance
Red Eye
The Ring Two
The Loved Ones

And the titles previously released on Blu by Paramount or Lionsgate (some very recently, or indeed forthcoming), which would obviously be CE's or part of a box set if given the Scream treatment:

The Warriors
Pet Sematary
(seems absolutely redundant in light of the 4K UHD release)
Friday the 13th Parts I-VIII
The Addams Family
Addams Family Values
The Stand
(TV)
Congo
Escape from L.A.
Event Horizon
The Relic
Sleepy Hollow
The Ring
I know most folks will/would groan, but the possibility of a release of the original cut of Paranormal Activity and the never before seen alternate cut of Paranormal Activity 3 are both right at the top of my wishlist.

I'm hoping Night of the Demons 3, Tales from the Darkside the Movie, and April Fools day are all coming sooner rather than later as well.

I do agree with another member saying that this was their best comic-con announcement slate ever. I'm not super excited for any one title but am pleased to see a number of them finally and am eager to pick up several.

I will say IF there were disappointments to be had with this years slate though, for me they'd be...

1) No Warner titles. Apparently that was a one and done deal for now?
2) Still no Sorority House Massacre 2 release. Or, to be more general, no Corman properties announced which seems odd.
3) Still no Child's Play 2/3 CE announcements which means the comments for these two titles will continue on.

It really is quite amazing though that we are getting the titles that we are. We have some, like the Fly Collection, which had been asked for/assumed was coming eventually for years now. Its release feels like the conclusion to an unfinished chapter in the fox catalog of releases. The addition of the Paramount titles are very likely going to knock off the big straggler titles that many of us have wanted for years now and hopefully some forgotten gems.

With the Paramount Vault now cracked all that's left to wish for (outside of Scream Factory being able to get their hands on the big name franchises like Freddy and Jason) is for Scream Factory to raid Lionsgate. Who'd ever thought that we'd be where we are today when the line started?

Truth be told I'm also hoping that Scream Factory's agreements have made it possible for other studios to step in in regards to licensing lesser titles as well. I'm sure there are some other forgotten slashers/horror offerings that are worth revisiting that Scream Factory may not have an interest in releasing but others would.

In addition, I'd probably also add the Miramax catalogue, but who knows what's going on with that these days.

I would assume Scream would release "The Ring" right? That one has been out of print for a while and it's due.

Welcome to the planet. People like different things.
I find it bizarre that some folks don’t get that.

As long as everyone is supporting physical media, we all win. The who/what/why/where/when doesn’t matter.

Wasn't the rumor that Dragonslayer is owned by Disney now?

I think Escape from L.A is a guarantee. They are going for as much Carpenter as possible and getting pretty darn close to all of it. I would be SHOCKED if they don't release that title.

Amazon Video credit it to Paramount, but I suppose the home video rights could be different.

Why would Disney own that film??

Honestly, I don't care who owns it, SOMEBODY release that movie. Just blows my mind that gems like this and Ghost and the Darkness etc get no blu ray release... yet I caught a movie called Chill Factor, some vhs nobody given an Arrow release... amatuer hour thru and thru... but it sure looked damn good in 2k remastered with bonus features plenty.

It's a co-production between Paramount and Disney. Paramount has US rights and Disney has international rights.

My biggest SDCC disappointment is that the Jack Sholder Alone in the Dark easter egg on the Valentine Blu-Ray still hasn't paid off.

The DVD is still in-print and is also from Paramount.

I'd almost forgotten about that. Hopefully it's a case of Warner taking their time with the scan. It seems likely there are still some holdovers from the deal (of the Lawton and possibly Hammer variety), so maybe Alone in the Dark is one such title.

Easily Scream's most solid slate of SDCC announcements yet! I can't wait for The Fly Collection, Road Games, Pet Sematary 2, Silver Bullet and of course, more Universal Horror! I can only assume that the likes of April Fool's Day aren't far off.

Regarding the Paramount vault, I'm hopeful we see Explorers, The Golden Child, Young Sherlock Holmes, Summer School, Big Top Pee-wee, Cool World, Coneheads and both Brady Bunch Movies get a Shout Select releases.

Death Wish is with Paramount right? Any chance we'll see a collectors edition of that one...

I hope we get both versions Of The Abominable Snowman. The Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas was the edited 85 min U.S. version. Anchor Bay released the 91 min British version on DVD here in the states, so hopefully it will be included in the Scream.

Small interview here with Jeff. Some info:

- He doesn't see them ever really having a path to Fright Night Part II, and said it's very unlikely that'll be the ones who put out Dawn of the Dead. Those two are the only two films that he can say is really pessimistic about Scream's chances of acquiring at some point. But he still likes to say 'never say never'.

- By contrast, at the end he sounded really quite hopeful about Alligator, almost as though a deal might not be far away (you listen and decide, sounded like a slight tease to me).

- He confirms that My Bloody Valentine will contain both cuts, and that they're looking to 'raise the stakes' with their release:

They’re going to be on this coming Friday’s episode of Shock Waves. They usually announce a title or two on the podcast historically.

Why stop there? Why not ALL the Death Wish movies since it's possible now (not sure if Lionsgate still owns home video rights to 5)!?

Also, anyone know who owns the US rights to the live-action RoboCop TV series, MGM or Paramount? Because Rysher Entertainment co-produced it and therefore might be with Paramount.

Also another thing that should be looked into this deal; more Nick shows (including Ren and Stimpy).
