Ugh! Headaches and migraines. No bueno Biz. Glad you got it sorted Mike and I hope you can find someone to watch your babies Scarriere. Bladder woke me up too early. I’m really regretting making that follow up interview given The Boy’s behavior (and mine) last night. I don’t like the idea of leaving him alone with my MiL. More to do with him, than her. Anyway, I’m beat and just want to crawl back in bed. Hopefully the coffee kicks in and I can show up with the same energy I had last week.

i actually have to chuckle a bit, Don. reading your post brought back some memories of my younger days.

i can't count how many times i went to work on a sunday morning and i was hungover as hell from going to clubs/bars the night before. and a lot of the times i would leave the club and go straight to work (usually had to be at work by 7:00-7:30. i'd just have a change of clothes in my car, clean up at work, start my shift, feel like shit for a few hours, but trudge through.

then i'd do it all again the next weekend....for about 3 years, lol.

been outside dismantling an old waterfall i built a few years ago. it started leaking from the back so i had to shut it off. i was gonna redo it, but since all the fish in the pond died a couple years ago, i just haven't been interested in doing anything else with it. so i'm gonna take it all down, fill in the hole, and hopefully do a seating area with a fire pit in that spot.

and of course i decide to do it in the middle of summer when it's hotter than a firecracker on the 4th of july.

I used to have a pond of similar sorts, no waterfall though. But I never once had fish in it. Had a fountain in the middle of it to decorate it and plants around it, and it was nice. Then I sold that house. Would like to do it again.

i wouldn't mind keeping it if i had the time/resources (i.e., money) to take care of it. but there's a fair bit of maintenance involved in it if i want it to run correctly and be as nice as i'd like. but i think i'd actually much rather have a nice seating area with a fire pit, instead. and yes, outdoor chairs, tables, and a fire pit cost money...but it's a one-time cost then it's done.

Once mine was up and running, I don't recall putting money into it, aside from the electricity used by the pump, which was only half the day.

Wow that actually sounds really neat. Reminds me we have some landscaping to do at the new house, but I think I'll wait until I get settled in before I start on any outdoor projects. I want to build a pole barn-style garage, with a couple lifts as well. Unfortunately our finances are pretty tied up right now so that'll be awhile.

O/T: Sitting here on the floor at our old apartment and streaming the local news on my laptop using my someone's unprotected WiFi connection. After a 12.5 hour shift at work and it raining I decided I'd spend the night here instead of driving home.
