Actually a DeFalco nostalgia set would be kind of fun. He could play around with it, do his own commentary, tell stories and so on. Actual fans would enjoy that, myself included, even if it did have to be a DVD/CD set, absent a Blu. I'd like to see that along with a photo or clip montage of some of his films with him pointing out what he loved and maybe doesn't love so much anymore in those projects.

Hate to play Debbie Downer, but you may not be considering all the issues here, Ruined. Do you think David is likely to sell 1000 copies of the new Gates/Psycho release? 1000 more expensive copies? He's still working his way through the Drive-ins he's already done, even though they're great, because they are kind of a niche item. So, even though those of us who love them have recommended them and maybe sold off a few more that way, they aren't exactly the hottest sellers.

Gates has so many other releases that you're really looking more at who will go crazy over the new Psycho From Texas blu. Actually, that is probably quite a few people, but not everyone you've ever met. Bill's Psycho From Texas DVD didn't sell terribly well. If I were you, with the OCD slip issue, I'd get the slip edition and just keep it in a different part of my collection or, as you suggested, drawer that sucker. I wouldn't count on a guaranteed second pressing.

Since I can only take so much Dark Force discussion at a time... has it been confirmed yet that Dead Pit will be getting a second pressing, and if so when it will see release? (September? October?) I'm mildly annoyed that I'll likely end up paying the same price minus the slipcover, but The Dead Pit is a film I've been curious about checking out for a while and so as long as I can eventually pick up a copy I'll be content.

At first I thought it's one of Morgan's sock-puppet accounts but it can't be for a couple of reasons. 1) Morgan doesn't have the patience to type long winded paragraph after paragraph and 2) Miribeau is much more intelligent.
