What code? Even sans code, £22 for an LE release of American Werewolf seems good to me.

Just like with Waterworld, I’m totally happy to buy the Arrow release for all the extras and tat and such, and then I can pick up a 4K release further down the line if it ever materializes.

Hey Arrow, how about Tremors next?

Ordered along with 'Being John Malcovich' for total of £38, including postage and using the 10YEARSANDCOUNTING code.
Hopefully it keeps it's October release, so I can watch during my annual 'Halloween Horror Month' (although of course 'it's ready when it's ready' should always apply).

Or not.

Q. What is split delivery? How does it work?
A. We now offer the ability to split your order into two dispatches. If your order contains items that are currently in stock as well as pre-order items, you can check the box to split the delivery on the Shipping Address page of the checkout process. Your first delivery will then be made immediately on all items that are currently in stock, whilst the second delivery will be dispatched when the rest of the order is available. P&P costs will apply to both dispatches.
So I cancelled the order, and went to reorder, no split delivery option on shipping page...
OK, I'll order seperately.

Discount code has a minimum spend of £30.00.

Q. Can I pre-order various titles in one order?
A. You can but this may delay earlier titles until all are available and cause you to miss out on first pressings.
Great...

Great...
It will cost £37 if you order those from HMV.

Arrow charging for split deliveries is laughable, especially when pre-orders have big gaps in release dates.

I think I'll either order both at HMV, or just Malkovich. So £37 or £39 total (hesitant to order American Werewolf at HMV as the free del is 2nd class post).

Whatever option though, Arrow direct are missing out on order because they couldn't, or chose not to add option of seperate preorder deliverys (which for context would have been £0.85 for Malkovich).

EDIT:Just ordered separately at Arrow & HMV, for £39 total.

Just preordered the LE set and then noticed that Arrow still took the full funds despite stating otherwise on the website.

Needless to say my order is now cancelled on principle that misrepresentation is completely unacceptable no matter what the cost.

Yeah, someone needs to tell them to either fix that or change their FAQ, they clearly state that funds will only be taken via Worldpay when the order is in stock or if ordering multiple items when the first item comes in stock they'll take full payment then

I contacted them about this a while back

Me: Hello, I pre-ordered with world pay and was expecting to be charged on dispatch like your FAQs say but was instead charged immediately, the titles don’t come out until August

Arrow: Hi Jack,

We don’t actually have the money, it is only reserved to be taken on dispatch.

Rather pointless when we on the receiving end still lose the money straight away. I don’t understand why they can’t do what every other website does and just take £1 as a sort of deposit then the rest upon dispatch.

Ah, not as bad as I thought then, I thought it would be another £2 delivery.

It was £22 + £2 via Arrow vs £21.99 at HMV.
But HMV is 2nd class post, I assume Arrow is 1st class postage but I'm not sure.

Also £21.99 + £0.99 at Zavvi, but for me Zavvi are an exclusives or 'to good a price to pass' retailer.

For some reason I thought I never bought this flick on Blu, probably because of the quality of the previous Blu-ray editions...

Turns out I must have bought it a few years ago for such a cheap price that I couldn’t resist at the time.

And off to eBay I go!
