Any chance this will go on sale on Amazon by release day? What do Arrow prices usually drop to on Amazon? Or do they? I'd like to buy this version since I don't own any other releases but there's no way I'm paying $50 for it.

I've noticed that the more mainstream/popular Arrow titles (especially from Universal), will get below $25 before release date. It happened with both 'Weird Science and 'Waterworld,' but you have to be vigilant watching the prices. Amazon has been weird in the past about not updating pricing for people who have already preordered. I myself had to cancel and reorder 'Waterworld' for the cheaper price.

Preordered. I never complain about prices but I really hope the price goes down. I need this on release date but I don't need all of the little knick knack stuff the limited edition comes with. I'd love to order from Diabolik and get it early but I can't afford for them to take the money out of my account right now.

LOL. yeah and this is why i often hold the line and call it good enough. this package may entice though. of course when it comes to fav movies i'm just as guilty as many and keep rebuying it. that is what manufacturers pray for and why we keep getting rereleases with marginal improvements and maybe a couple new "special" features (though often not really that special)

Has Arrow ever put out a limited edition that wasn't followed by a standard edition? Can't think of any offhand. Seems like standard protocol. Like others, I can do without all the packaging. Will likely hold out on this.

An American Werewolf in London is definitely in my top ten. Unfortunately, the deleted footage seems to M.I.A. Would love to see an extended cut of the film.
