Same bucket as Hurricane Heist, MI, Dark Phoenix, etc. These would have been day 1 blind buys. However, NO 3D NO BUY

I wasn't expecting it to be in 3D from the start, so to hear it at least has a 3D version in other countries is hopeful. But yeah, with the current climate of theaters reducing the 3D shows in 2018, I'm not surprised, but still disappointed. I could've imagined a good conversion to bring the film to another dimension of action.

Even so, looking forward to checking it out in theaters. Not a fan of the main series, but this looks like a good action film.

Didn't like this movie at all. F&F always held a fine line of the utterly ridiculous and realism and Hobbes and Shaw have no interest any of that. I was continually pulled out of the movie. Roll on Fast 9 with the regular crew because this spin-off doesn't work for me at all.

I love the FnF franchise. It seemed like every sequel got crazier and better than the last. I wish they would have stopped at 7, but then i found even 8, without paul walker was still good. Ill buy a ticket for FnF 9 as well, but Hobbs and Shaw? I dont think ill watch this.

I love the rock and i love statham, but this franchise was paul and vin diesel, Tokyo drift wasnt even that bad and i would love for the main character of that one to take Brians place alongside Dom.

I’m glad this is getting a 3D Blu-ray release (even if it wasn’t released in 3D in the US). Should be fun to see this film this way. I highly enjoyed it in Dolby Cinema and am going to see it in IMAX as well.

Yeah, I saw the trailer a bajillion times before every movie I saw at AMC the past month or so and it always said see it in 3D and IMAX. I'd never seen any of the Fast and Furious movies but this looked like dumb summer fun and I figured it could be at least visually interesting in 3D. But when it came out, regular, digital or IMAX were the only options.

I went ahead and gave IMAX Laser another shot, and the picture looked good, but the movie might have been a little more fun with a third dimension since the plot and characters were as flat as the screen.

Surprised to hear that it's releasing elsewhere in 3D since I figured the studio backed out of an expensive conversion because they didn't want to waste the money they probably wouldn't earn back...
