[Show spoiler]He can meet back up on that bench if he eventually traveled back to his original timeline, as the characters had been doing throughout the movie. You're right he couldn't have just traveled back in time and then waited for the timeline to catch up to that moment.
They don't say how he got back. It's open to interpretation and possibly open for future storytelling. (I kind of hope it stays vague.)

I suppose that is true. I think that is a good way to understand what happened. Thanks for the insight. Little things like this always bug me if I can't resolve the conflict in my head.

We got there about 8:45 am. At #192 I was still able to meet and get an autograph from Anthony Russo! (Unfortunately, I don't know how to upload any photos from my phone.)

If you ever want it to bug you further, I think the writers and directors gave conflicting accounts - one was your understanding, the other was what I just explained. But it makes no sense the other way! Unless they go back and cover it in detail.

Got to meet Anthony Russo!

I attended the We Love You 3000 event yesterday at the Best Buy in Brooklyn (Cleveland), Ohio. At #262 in line, I didn't get to meet Anthony but he stuck around as long as he could and ended up signing a bunch of posters for those he didn't get to meet, which is more than I expected and I can't be mad. He even came out to thank everyone else that was still in line for coming before he left. I was hoping for an exclusive Pop instead of just a mix of what was already available though and the pin and sticker left more to be desired.

Overall it was a good experience, and honestly my own fault I didn't get there sooner. It looked like it was going to rain for a good portion of the afternoon and it did so I killed time at home, meal prepped for the rest of the week/weekend, watched "Iron Man" 4K and didn't show up until almost 4 pm once the rain passed.

How exactly did all of the people that were "snapped" out of existence all of a sudden come back to fight in the finale?

Now I know they mentioned something about time travel and compared to how it's done in other movies. Perhaps I'm hung up on those other movie explanations.
If I get the events correct in endgame. It's roughly 5 years after the "snap" event. They go back in time (so to speak) and get the stones from the past. So if they got the stones from the past, how exactly could Thanos get the stones to do the initial "snap"?
Second, if they stopped Thanos way before the initial "snap" there would be no reason for them to go back and do all of that because it never happened and thus the paradox.

Like I said, I'm confused.
Hulk snapped everyone back to life right before Thanos attacked the Avengers. After that Doctor Strange had Wong arrange for everyone to be at the final fight.

Everything the movies have ever told me about time-travel is a lie. I feel like I’ve been betrayed .

Does Wal-Mart have an exclusive disc thing going? I noticed a sticker on all of their Blu-ray versions about an extra bonus disc. Or is that sticker on all the blu-rays at all stores?

All the blu-ray and UHD editions have bonus features on a second blu-ray disc. No store has any exclusive bonuses.

Did they actually lower the price?

Because you can't price match Amazon there anymore.

Amazon is now $17 for BD (4K was $24 but it already went back up).

I was happy when I read your post, then I was sad when I read "4K... already went back up", then I read "Exclusively for Prime members" and now I'm frustrated.

Anyone who is a Disney Movie Club member get Avengers Endgame sent to them without a email notice that it was a "Featured Title?" This kind of nonsense was a big factor in me not really wanting to join DMC until I *had* to pick up "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea."

I know I can simply send it back for an eventual refund but it was a bit annoying to find this in my mail this week when I already bought the Best Buy steelbook and plan on buying the UK 3D release when it becomes available.
