It’s just a repackage, nothing to get excited about.

Look at the release sheet. You have to navigate across several pages to find it.

I hope they've got T3 lined up as well.

Sony handled non-US distribution on Salvation, so presumably they've done the master on this one. Should look good. Hopefully we see some sign of the remaining two films (1 and 3) on UHD soon.

I remember watching this around the time it came out. We were 8 people in the theatre, including myself and my sister.
It beats T3 and Genysis.

Funny reading this news today, as I was planning on watching the Blu tonight anyway!

I've always liked this one, though it's a shame it got caught up in the Writer's Strike during production and wasn't what it should of been. Still holding out hope one day we get to see the 30-40 minutes of deleted scenes McG talked up during the promotional rounds.

If Bale didn't dive all over the script and bring in hackbot 3000 it wouldn't have had that issue

I love this movie and for some reason i find it endlessly rewatchable. If the third act wasn't so lumpy it would be an amazing movie. I am fascinated by the third act that never was, but i still enjoy this a lot on its own merits.

Same here. I don't know why the Terminator sequels are always so harshly criticised. Salvation in particular seemed like a nice change of pace from the "sent back in time" setup and would have made a great trilogy had that time-line continued.

Best Terminator since 2. Hope it gets a good NA release. Only problem is this movie had virtually no soundtrack to speak of. Besides the awesome AiC insert song.

Since Warner has the rights to both 3 & 4 in the States, I think we'll see both released at the same time. Terminator 1 is by MGM here though, any other studios got international rights to it?
