I hadn't heard about Heath in the role. Only thing I remember is that George Miller was looking to cast a Hollywood 'Unknown' if in fact Mel wouldn't return to the role. Wouldn't it be great if Gibson would take the role and have one last 'go' at Rockatansky though??? I think he'd be 'Mad' not to!

Me too I would rather have Mel back as Mad Max I would have such a hard time seeing someone else in the role of Mad Max

I will probably get grilled for this, but here it goes:

If and ONLY IF Mel Gibson won't return as Max... I think Joshua Jackson do a good job in the role.

I also really want Beyond Thunderdome on Blu but we'll see what happens in the coming months.

In a perfect world, Mel would return to play Max and Fury Road would be an instant classic but I just don't see it happening.

I love the Mad Max trilogy

This had better reach Australian shores (you know, where the films were actually MADE) or I'll be very angry but if so, AT LAST.

I hope this has regular English subtitles as well, because I remember the Australian English spoken in this film is as thick accented as they come!

Is this a flipper with BD on one side and DVD on the other, or is it a BD and separate DVD?
