Hi, sorry about the delay, we normally don't get 2 weeks behind with the shipping. But we are currently processing order numbers in the late 4100's now. It's been a little busy over here. Hopefully by the beginning of next week your order should ship out. As far as the chargeback you mentioned. If you don't get a shipping confirmation by Tuesday, send me an email, please give us a chance to rectify the situation asap. We value your business with us.

Thank you for your patience.
That's the type of response that makes repeat customers, maybe even first-time customers.

Bill and David may not remember that about you. You've made it clear in the past, that you'll wait with everyone else, as have many of us. That doesn't translate into perfect recall and instant knowledge of the joke you were making as part of your query. Best not mention chargebacks, ever. Also, what did you order? I can't remember now.

Any guess on what 70s horror film they’re about to announce? Apparently they have the OCN or original “cut” negative as they’ve stated on FB.

Just opened Breeders. This slipcover is honestly really bad. Only half the body is embossed and it's coated in that GitD crap, so it kind of looks like to old mossman he-man figure after half the moss has fallen off. This one wasn't executed properly, unfortunately.

I'd have quoted Fiocca and congratulated Cinema84 on being a "nerd".... Only a nerd would pay for movies and worry about whether they'll arrive.

Still, all of that was pretty odd. People never come in here and freak out because David didn't ship something or a blu was terribly damaged, because he's careful in shipping, hence the time it takes. People come in with a problem and later report he fixed it quickly and was really nice about it.... The guy who shouted "nerds" over and over and asked if he could pay someone $1000, to let him beat them up, is actually pretty nice, as I've said many times.... It's been a strange week for Dark Force.

I'd rather see someone release The Drifter, in which O'Keeffe and Delaney were decidedly unrelated and did the thing, you know, that thing, but some of you will love Ator, so here it is....

From "Dark Force Entertainment":

"IS THIS GOING TO BE THE BEST LOOKING CUSTOM GLOW IN THE DARK SLIP OF THEM ALL?
That has been the consensus from out team of designers on the new Collector's Edition release for ATOR. It is now in replication and will be available NEXT MONTH exclusively from Dark Force. LIMITED 1000 ONLY
HIGH DEF TRANSFER SPECS: The new HD master for this release was created from a 35mm print, the only known one is existence, with heavy restoration. Aspect Ratio is 1.78:1
Stay Tuned this weekend as we unveil the brand new MIRROR MIRROR awesome Collector's Slipcover!:
Darkforcedvd.com"

If there is only one print, I'm assuming the source is the same as the Scorpion DVD. I'm wondering if it was a new scan of that or if they did an HD scan when prepping that DVD. Also, I know I shouldn't be, but, I'm wondering, if this is using the old scan, will the blu include the old features or will it have new features?

The Dork Farce may be 50ish, but he acts like 13 year old on a bad football team loaded with too many hormones & steroids. I think he feels he has his own WWE show with his entrance music, flexing, and threats to the crowd. That might work when you have a good guy to root for that can pound the snot out of him before the show ends, but there are no good guys. No good talk, no good anything. Threatening potential customers, and listening to a disinterested Bill talk through a banana suit. I guess we could pray for a miracle that any store besides the dark force store could sell their stuff (and at a reasonable price too). You want to get trolled And have nothing done about it? Watch a dark force podcast, or wait for him to post here. Too bad fake Tom wouldn't come back and post his fake nice posts.

UPDATE:

"Dark Force Entertainment"

"NOW SERVING ORDER #4206-All recent orders from last store opening will be processed and in the mail by beginning of the week. NEW STORE POLICY: We have revised our operating system at the Dark Force Superstore so that all sales including credit cards will now go through Paypal. This will dramatically speed up our shipping process and you can track your order right on their site. Also NO CHANGES to orders in the future. Doing so severely delays the shipping of the order and even can risk cancellation. So please place your orders carefully. The Dark Force store will remain open 24 hours and will only be closed for major restocking and when more than 3 days behind in shipping.
STAY TUNED this weekend for a WORLD PREMIER as we unveil the brand new MIRROR MIRROR slipcover that is about to get fully customized in the Dark Force shop!"

The Paypal thing is good news. They can print labels with all the information already in the system.

The store staying open is what they were already doing, except when behind on shipping, but it's nice to have it announced, so people might stop complaining about it so much on Facebook.

Good news all around.

If Dave would spend less time flexing and more time shipping there wouldn't be a need to take the store down.

They always could have done that even without PayPal since BigCommerce as several different options that supports printing shipping labels to include their own free shipping management solution.

So are all new releases going forward going to be graced by fancy glowy slipcovers?

Hopefully not. They said #7 is glow-cover-free. I do find it odd that, if Ator is coming from the only known print, given that Walt did that DVD from a print and assuming it is the same print, they would then do a glow-cover for Ator, as a special cover implies a level of visual and auditory perfection that won't be there, again, assuming the same source.

Also, a standard embossed-slip would be much cheaper to produce, even a standard high-gloss flat-slip, and they could sell it for a lower price. If it were $20, I'd pick it up, watch it once and give it away, specifically $20 for the blu with slip, not the slip by itself.
