I'm sorry, but where are people getting this is a sell out? If it was, it would say "This item is no longer available" on the web site. It looks to be temporarily unavailable, which happens to 99 percent of steels when they're released.

Most likely due to the fact the Best Buy app lists the steel book at present as ‘Sold Out,’ i.e., not available for online order or not in stock.

Well yeah, it's typical for them to show steels as "Not available for shipping" right when they're released.

It shows "Sold Out" for me and unavailable for pickup within 250 miles of me, and I'm pretty sure it's the same for others out there as well.

glad I snuck in my pre-order just in time, had been planning to just nab it in store

but first day, by the time I got there I saw all steelbooks and 3D already sold out (online too for hundreds of miles)

man, they made this a rare one, some people say even big stores only got 3 copies of each for non-pre-order and small stores 0-2 each

That would absolutely account for what I saw at my store. There must have been four empty slots on the floor for the steel but there were still 5+ waiting for pickup at around 6pm. I don't think fans were taking any risks with this release.

Maybe this Steel got a low print run because it underperformed at the box office. Or maybe it's because the Big G has a passionate fan base that loves to buy merch, including multiple copies of the same movie in different packages. Or some combination of the two.

I must admit I was motivated to buy it because it seems like a Mad Max Fury Road situation.

I know someone who'll buy the code since I already got this thru vudu disc+digital. and I've sold the 4K disc and code from that package already.

If it's too beat up may pass.

Earlier it said available at the BB near me with the yellow button "add to cart". I did and thinking it probably a glitch but I would go all the way to payment method.

Yeah, it's weird how different members are seeing different things. There are several BestBuys within "reasonable" driving distance from me that still have these. I just get the "Find a Store" button.
