I wish WB would release this on blu. It has the cult factor going for it, and Scarlett Johansson's career has obviously taken off since this film came out, making it easier to sell to people who didn't see it the first time around. Seems like a no-brainer, especially with WB releasing junk like Dreamcatcher.

I'd buy it. I enjoy the film. Don't dis Dreamcatcher though. you mightn't have liked it, but I did, and the book.

Evolution is another one I'd jump on. Not Warner I know, but another fun film of similar ilk.

I was hoping for a Blu-Ray release back in 2012 for the 10th anniversary. Missed opportunity there. Hopefully we'll get it someday. A 3D conversion would be nice as well.

Was this filmed in 3-D and in theaters in 3D?

As much as I want this blu too, I doubt the film will have any type of "anniversary" anything to correspond with a blu release. It's a catalog title at this point.

No, it wasn't filmed or released in theaters in 3D, but I think it would be great for post-conversion. And true, this film isn't big enough to have any sort of anniversary...although it's sometimes surprising what films get anniversary editions.-

I'm surprised Scream hasn't picked it up. The HD version on Vudu is pretty decent, but it's not in the movie's original 2.35 ratio. I believe it's open matte.

I look at the wish list threads every day and am amazed at some of the films that the studios simply can't be bothered to release. Eight Legged Freaks is just so baffling. Don't they get that anything horror related has a relatively big ready made market they will buy these films.

I enjoyed it when it came out and wouldn't consider buying it but if I ran the company that held the rights it would be high on 'get a pristine blu ray out there ASAP' for those horror fans.

IMHO, one of Scarjo's best films! Prosperity, Arizona! This is such a fun movie! I would love to have it on blu... every few years I check again... darn, still not out.

Yeah, I was just thinking about this film again today, so came to the site to see if one was released somewhere. A shame! I can't even get it on iTunes in HD in Australia. It isn't damn well available, unlike other countries.
