People are entitled to their opinions, of course, and if somebody doesn't like a certain era of the show then that's fine. I have noticed, however, that people are becoming increasingly dramatic about this kind of thing nowadays. People saying RIP to properties that are still in existence, accusing things of "destroying my childhood" etc... The latter being utter nonsense, of course, because you can't retroactively change a childhood that you already experienced. It's far less exhausting to just say, "Nah, I'm really not into it."

Horror of Fang Rock was the end of the road for me. Although I did enjoy some of the 80s serials.
