UK site shows it as "ships in 1 to 2 months" = Amazon once again didn't manage to cover their pre-orders.

Worse is the soundtrack. Vol. 2 is digital download only in the UK, no CD, and download or CD-R in the US. I want a pressed, actual CD with nice artwork & a booklet. If they're going to pull this limited crap, I'd much rather they sold the rights off to a boutique label like La La Land Records so it could be done properly.

ANyone know where to stream the first one? Surprised it is not on Netflix, HBO Now, Hulu, etc... maybe it is a rental/buy only?

This was about as good of an adaptation as I could hope for. These reviews slamming the film for being “too long” or “not scary” are crap.

It’s an adaption of a huge book, that’s half a horror novel and half a coming of age story. If you went into to this expecting a mindless monster movie that’s your own fault.

That being said, I found this second chapter to actually be funnier, scarier and more fluid than the first. Bill Hader steals the show, Stephen King has a great cameo and Pennywise is a much better villain in this.

But I don’t think I want to ever watch both films separate ever again though. The supercut of both together with all the deleted scenes should be the mandatory way to view this going forward, once released. Bravo Mr. Muschietti.

The one scene that scared me in the first film was the projector scene and giant Pennywise coming out of the screen, was completely unexpected to me and pretty freaky. Like the first film, the scares here are pretty telegraphed, but there were a couple which I still found kinda jolting even if I could see it coming
[Show spoiler]like the eating of the little girl and the dog turning into a monster

We got all of those except Tenet (can't say 100% though, as trailers had already started when we arrived). Non-WB trailers included: Black Christmas, Terminator: Dark Fate, Zombieland: Double Tap, and Gretel & Hansel.

The trailers I got were Countdown, Zombieland: Double Tap, Knives Out, Tenet, Black Christmas, and Birds of Prey.
I legit nerdgasmed when I saw the Tenet teaser start. I know it didn't show much, but I'm psyched already.

This is not a by-the-numbers horror film. It's beautifully tragic showcasing the Loser's Club grown up with a chilling tale that borders more on sci-fi and fantasy than straight-up horror. It was so damn funny, too. I loved this so much.

I really do hope that supercut comes to fruition, but look what happened to his promise on delivering a director's cut of the first chapter. This is gonna become a "Justice League Snyder Cut" fiasco all over again.

Wait, there's finally a trailer for this?

The release date is October 25th, I didn't think it was going to make it.

I am intrigued to see this. It's like a hybrid of Nerve, Drag Me to Hell, and Final Destination.

A person's safety and welfare is more important than going to see a movie.

The first film had Hurricane Irma. And while it did close some theaters, managed to have a huge opening still.

Bingo, the biggest opening for a horror movie, may I add! If Irma didn't happen, I'm sure the number would be higher.

This is just to show you how stupid some people can be. They were willing to risk their lives for a movie! If something would've happened to them, then they'll be crying and complaining about themselves. Foolish people like this I don't have any sympathy for because, they get what they deserve if something would had happen to them. I don't feel sorry for stupidity and rebellion because, those people were warned.

Replace 'long' with 'short' and you've just described how my GF and I felt about Chapter One. I was hoping that the added run time would give this one more room to breathe and not just lurch from one scene to another. At the very least the first one was gorgeous so I'm expecting a visual treat tonight at the local IMAX regardless of what I think about the rest of the film.

Ideally we'll eventually get director's cuts of both films. A supercut that also restores the structure of the book would be very interesting indeed.

The peeps complaining about the lack of Pennywise really need to re-watch the 2017 film, because there's more of him in Chapter Two. He certainly has a lot more dialogue.
