Yeah, let’s just ignore the bonus materials Arrow pulled together for their Crimson Peak release.

It was exactly the same thing as what they released originally, aside from a couple stills on postcards.

As promised, Arrow will be tackling Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds in the near future!

A 17-minute interview with Kim Newman and a 23-minute video essay by Kat Ellinger is hardly worth spending 3 to 5 times more for the Arrow over the Universal..

I just hate to see Arrow slipping into becoming a better encoded Shout Factory, re-releasing titles that the studios already did right by.

With the extended "mini-series" version of The Hateful Eight already up on Netflix and similar plans in store for "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood"...who knows; Inglorious Basterds might end up being more interesting than people think!

I don't follow Tarantino that closely but I know that he had also been talking about an expanded version of Kill Bill for years....not sure if that ever actually came to fruition.

He certainly seems keen on creating these alternate cuts recently.

Frightener previously said that these are different to usual postcards - from what I understand, the other side is just a general promo for Arrow Video and Arrow Academy. But since someone else has reported finding a card for Slaughterhouse-Five, evidently there's probably another 2-3 new reveals out there.

It looks like the copy comes with a slipcover? Asking, because it looks to be off to the right of your pic. Diabolik usually lists if it has a slipcover, but does not, so curious.

Inglorious Basterds seems like a waste. Already has a pretty good edition. Would rather see Arrow release titles that really need upgrades or titles that have never had a Blu-ray release.

You forgot nothing less than a 50 minutes making of and a 8 minutes ITW with Del Toro.

Yeah that’s true. However it was the 50 minute making of that I saw as the standout new bonus feature.

Is there anything in that 50-min doc that isn't covered in Universal's featurettes? I was under the impression that it just repurposed the interviews that Universal shot for their release. (For the record, I did buy the limited edition of Crimson Peak and ordered the limited editions of American Werewolf and RoboCop and will likely order the limited edition of Inglourious Basterds. I am nothing if not hypocritical.)

Has anyone else who's received The Prey (or indeed anything else new) checked to see if they have any of the new-style postcards like the ones showcasing Inglorious Basterds and Slaughterhouse-Five? I can't imagine they'd only do those two, but of course without the usual reverse we've no way of knowing what's out there. Unfortunately, over in the UK it seems all our copies of The Prey (at least those received so far) have just got the old style of postcard, with nothing new.
