Nothing per se, unless you have a bad batch of discs that makes the movie skip like 3 minutes during a murder scene (like I have...)

I picked up my copy just in the last year or so, and haven't taken the time to check it out. Crap...I'll have to do that now, and hope mine isn't one of the impacted discs.

I'll like a new Bluray of Night of the Devils, the present one isn't very good.

I have one of those discs. I still need to replace it.

What are your Top 5 Scream Factory/Shout Factory releases? I was looking at my collection today. According to my app, I own 185 Shout Factory titles. My Top 5 Favorite Releases would probably be:

5) Larry Fessenden Collection - I have been a longtime fan of the indie horror auteur, and it was a great surprise to see them release this collection of his classic films. Habit remains a favorite of the vampire genre.

4) Tales From the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight - I love both TFtC offerings, but Demon Knight has long been a classic horror film for me, nicely balancing the camp, scares, and humor. Billy Zane was perfectly cast.

3) Into the Night - I had a German Blu-ray on preorder when SF announced their upcoming release, so I quickly cancelled to wait for the U.S. release. An underappreciated film in the Landis filmography, for sure.

2) Brainscan - I'd yearned for a Blu-ray of Brainscan for years; it was one of my top wants. I'll admit it doesn't quite hold the magic for me that it once did, but it's still nice to finally own the Sony gem in HD.

1) Night of the Demons - A classic 80's horror film, and a yearly October watch. Holding out someone eventually releases part 3...

Very tough to pick 5--- went upstairs and looked over my SCREAM section---
there are so many that I'm thrilled to simply have the opportunity to own on blu ray!

But my list--

The Thing
Carrie
The Sentinel
The Legend Of Hell House
Tales From the Crypt/Vault Of Horror double feature

*I'm thinking the upcoming color version of 1979's DRACULA will be knocking one of these off my current list...

**extremely happy to have all the recent Hammer films, 50's big bug movies, and early 70's horror flicks.

1-3 are by far my top 3. 4-5 I'd say are equal to many of my other SF releases. If I included Shout in there, I might sub in Bill/Ted and/or Hackers. Anything beyond the top 3 is difficult for me to choose

1. Ginger Snaps
2. Sleepaway Camp
3. Candyman
4. Nightbreed
5. The Serpent and the Rainbow

Vincent Price Collection 1
Return of the Living Dead
The Thing
The Manitou

There's 5 different buying options for this release lol. Out 3rd December:

Collector's Edition and Poster

Steelbook and Lithograph

Collector's Edition, Poster and Vinyl

Steelbook, Lithograph and Vinyl

Collector's Edition, Steelbook, Poster, Lithograph and Vinyl

Phew. At least you can never accuse Shout of overkill...

Although similar to most of the Collector's floating head style covers, for some reason I like this one more. Must be the colors. Not bad at all.

Cause you don't have to overkill every piece of art just cause it's a movie poster.

Thunder appears twice on the cover. That's not overkill?
