I'm not sure if it's still the case, but when I ordered it on release it also included a little card inside that included a soundtrack download and it was also autographed by Kevin Smith. I was surprised because it wasn't included in the item description back then either.

I got Red State for $3 at the dollar store a few years ago. Not sure I'd pay OOP prices for it, but it turned out to be a good blind buy. If you find it for cheap and it's going OOP I'd give it a try.

They probably just had a few copies in the store that are gone now. I ordered on the 7th and my order was shipped.

I placed a backorder (on the 9th) after getting that same message and took a chance on it, and I just got a shipment notification for the Red State blu-ray from them an hour ago!! The fact I'm getting the blu is great enough, but so excited that it's going to be signed as well.

However, let me add that since my backorder, the blu-ray listing for Red State on the site previously linked has officially been removed. The Red State DVD is still available, though, and apparently that's OOP/hard to find as well.

Having said that, this would be more of a $5 buy at Big Lots for me.

At scalper prices, I'm more than comfortable sticking with my 1.85 DVD.

It' still listed on Shout's store page with no mention of being or going OOP, so I'd say amazon hasn't had an order in a while and didn't bother to get more. Shout has been very good at letting people know when a title is about to go OOP.
