The last one in my area closed around 10 years ago. I loved going to the drive-in as a kid. You'd get to see 2-3 movies, bring your own food, and hang out with a bunch of friends. Sure, the speakers sucked, although there was a thing you could clip to your antenna so you could listen in your car. I saw all 4 of the "original" Batman movies at the drive-in. I remember Batman Returns came out on my 10th birthday and we had my birthday party at the drive-in.
