Never opened either of them until the 10th anyhow but Rat's doesn't really do it for me, I find it really boring looking.
But it's nice a steelbook of one of my favorite pixar films.

I couldn't decide between the steelbook or the slip for Rat. I went back and forth in the store. I think the slip is nicer but ended up going with the steelbook.

I'm a steelbook sucker haha.

Don't know which will actually be more limited...the steelbook or the slip. Slips seem to disappear from Disney movies quick nowadays. Hope I'm not kicking myself for going with the SB

I got Aladdin '92 steelbook also, but after seeing the colorful cover of the Target exclusive, has the book which my daughter will like, and the Target ex. is more rare, I think I'll return the '92 steelbook.

Damnit! I just picked up the steelbook on the bottom left corner but I'd much prefer the one on the bottom right. Mine was the only one that was at the Best Buy I went to.

EDIT: Unless that is the Will Smith one which I'm good if that's the case.

It was my store was being spastic . They had no new Disney releases out on display today. Just John Wick 3. Guy went to the back and got me this Aladdin steel

what do you want some ugly, dingy grunge dirt colored outfit or throw up brown dingy hipster colored dress?
plus in some other parts of the world, bright color and saturation has been in for ages beyond ages

plus these are supposed to mimic the basics of the iconic styles set by the cartoons

also the dingy colors of today are more old fashioned than 80s color, dingy colors were in back in the pioneer days of your great great great grandparents, were in during the late 60s, etc.

I love how this is supposed to be some sort of insult. Also, Jasmine wears such colors in her street garb.

Also, love how Best Buy treats you like a criminal if you want to check the quality of their steels outside of their scratched and abused anti-theft cases. I'd rather get it over with than make exchange after exchange, because there's a big ass dent I couldn't feel with their padlock on.

Just watched the new blu ray and it looks stunning. Great film too. I hadn't seen it since the summer of 1994 so it was a great experience revisiting it. Beautiful steelbook as well.

Hi Def Digest needs to fix their review stating this blu ray is identical to the Diamond Edition which it's clearly not by OAR alone.

I haven't seen the animated one yet, only the live action so far and in that latter it's for sure an intense turquoise/teal sort of color.

I guess for some reason then they decided to copy the live action color dress over to her for the new animated covers, which does seem a bit odd. Unless what was meant is the covers have been wrong for ages and are still wrong, yet again, in 2019 and they just re-copied the same old mistake again.

No. She has been designed that way ever since the first VHS and for merchandise. The live action film copied that, just like the live action Cinderella gave Cinderella a blue dress instead of silver and the live action Beauty and the Beast gave Belle a yellow dress instead of gold.
