I need some help.
I've been reading the past few pages of the thread and I sold my codes on the forum. I wrote in my post that I would send the buyer hi res images of the inserts, but they think that's not enough. Could someone help me? |

I planned on selling my code and luckily the buyer reached out to me and warned me about this issue. (as i never use digital codes and wouldn't have figured this out on my own)
What I did was have another person record video of me scanning the hologram with the app. (i actually used a UCB-C to HDMI adapter to mirror my S9+ screen to my TV). Then when prompted to enter an email address I entered my own email (i didnt think to enter the redeemers email, but it doesn't associate the email with any account at this step, to my knowledge). Then when you submit the email address the code flashes for less than a second before it reroutes to a screen when you select your digital service of choice. Then I played back the video and caught a frame where the code was visible and sent that to the buyer of my code. |

It should be enough. they can scan barcode and QR off my phone as a coupon at the store. Just need to turn the phone brightness to highest. But then, they need an extra device to display the QR. Most people do have a computer.

![]() ![]() For those wondering what the inside of the WM version looks like. The 4K case has no separate slipcover and is not wrapped, just has a sticker on top. I was going to wait to get this, but the coin looked pretty cool. It will probably still be around later but you never know. |

Something that I found interesting with this release was the huge disparity in stock between the UHD and the Blu-ray. I ended up going to 3 different Best Buys yesterday, and each one had easily 5x more Blu-rays. I know that it's still the better selling and more adopted format, but I'm just not used to it being so obvious like it was with this release.

I successfully sold the code Thanks to the directions in this thread, but LG certainly doesnt make it easy. Had to use the app with one hand while using my camcorder in the other hand and then freeze framing the code. I hope they get enough complaints to decide it's a bad idea. |

Garbage app and ridiculous workaround to get that code but it finally worked for me and the (incredibly patient) guy I was selling it to. What a nightmare, though, and it still doesn't even stop people from being able to resell the codes like I'm sure they hoped.

To add on to above, the app also crashed (at least for me) until I allowed location. Probably to ensure you are in the US (which, can be spoofed anyway...), but really, that's rather intrusive just for a movie code.
