But how huge is the fan base really? Yeah, the multiconsole thing works in it's favor, but it's not exactly a game that I hear about or see all over the place like I always have with Halo (even back when Halo only had one installment available).

Maybe time will prove me wrong on this (which if it does, I really don't care, because in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter.. both are games that I don't have much interest in), but I wouldn't go gambling my last dollar on MW2 reaching this record... at least not any faster than Halo did.
