cool, but, the offer was supposed to expire yesterday the 2nd. did it let you go ahead and sign up for the deal since you got the email with the code?

you will know if that's the case as you will get an email after paying and it will list that you paid, the renewal date of 2022 and your payment method; hoping you get in. keep us posted.

Yes, I was. My charge on PayPal was for $152.60, which comes out to $4.24/month.

Roku for 29.99. Problem solved.

I'm disappointed that I'll have to wait until at least next year for Disney+ to come to Ireland but I'm very surprised that it getting released in only 5 countries.

Does anyone think Disney might release some of the content in other ways outside those 5 countries? Like through the DisneyLife app or even for sale on iTunes or disc?

You've signed up already?

Can you use Disney+ if you travel outside the US?

My sister lives in New Zealand and if roaming is allowed then I can pay her to subscribe and no waiting years for The Mandolorian.

You have to wait, no one can tell you right now. In Germany (Europe?), Disney plus will start later this year or early 2020. Why do you think, it will take years? And no, I don't think, they will sell their exclusive content in other countries, this would make no sense.

If you so happen to have a Dutch iTunes account, the Disney+ app is available to download.

https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/disney...atform=appleTV

I just don't see how you don't subscribe to this!

Well, I have subscribed for Disney+ (NL). There is an app for my LG television. Works smooth. Heard from a friend there is indeed no app for Samsung yet. Awaiting confirmation from someone with a Philips television.

Ultra HD titles are very limited thus far. Not everything on 4k Blu Ray is available on Disney+ yet (Some Marvel titles, Aladdin (90's), some Star Wars titles, princess bride 1 + 2, Nutcracker, Christopher robin and Wrinkle in Time. None of the released Pixar's are in Ultra HD.

No Fox in the Dutch app. I sure hoped for The Simpsons.

The picture quality is ok, but I need to test further. Not completely satisfied with Ultra HD. But maybe, just maybe I am spoiled a bit with Ultra HD Blu Ray. Won't stop buying those.

Overall... Yeah, I am going to bingewatch a lot with all those classics movies as the Rocketeer and 90's animation. *Sigh*

With few exceptions (Spider-Man '67, X-Men '92, Fantastic Four '94, Iron Man '94), Disney never put out complete home video releases for any of the older Marvel series, even Spider-Man '94 that they could have tied in to any of the live-action movies, so this is not an unwelcome development.

Wonder if "Pryde of the X-Men" will show up there, as they will definitely have the rights to that.

FYI: No IMAX aspect ratio.

The movies come with extras, but not as many as the Blu-ray.

As an LG OLED and SJ8500 owner, I am encouraged that your LG TV had an app. Would think that LG wouldn't be short-sighted to leave out North America when it comes to Disney+ launching and having a built-in WebOS app.

I received an email offering me the $169 for 3 years and $119 for 2 years. Thankfully the offer goes up until next month. As I just started a new job and want to make sure everything is caught. Especially since my tv is the only one with the app at the moment.
