Well, something has to happen about pre-season. I think it would help if they would consider eliminating Thursday night games altogether and just have 2 Monday night games every week instead.

I would like that option as I hate Thursday games and I'm sure all the player hate them more then I do. Only issue would be scheduling and if they could always have a pst or mst home team playing the late game. I guess a cst team would work too as that would be like the old days when MNF had a kick-off time of 9pm.

I remember those days. Used to tell my parents ‘I couldn’t sleep’ to stay up and watch the game as a kid.

There's rumors flying around that Sam was actually sick Week One which added to his pedestrian performance. I can definitely say that he looked fatigued and not his usual crisp self.

MF-Thursday AND Sunday night games suck. I miss MNF meaning something with Cosell, Meredith and Gifford....OLD AGE I guess.
