Several of my titles that were redeemed on VUDU does not show up on Amazon, FandangoNOW or Google. Same for some VUDU DVD2HD titles.

It’s a complete mess. It’s dying to be honest. People just don’t see the sense in paying a fair whack for one film when they can have a buffet. I think here, it will be Netflix, Disney Plus as the dominating subscriptions. In my house, disc isn’t dying. I’m buying more than ever.

I think there is room for two free ad supported services. In the U.K., one of those will be NBCUniversal, which comes free for all Sky subscribers from next year, I understand. If you don’t know, Sky is the UK’s main pay tv service. They have just been bought by Comcast, so that’s where the free bit comes in.

There is a few DVD2HD titles that I want continued access too, really don't care about the redeemed titles because I have the disc. If the DVD2HD titles become available on BD or UHD BD then I will purchase the disc.

Can’t imagine a time when I won’t have a bumper package stuffed with Blu-rays at the end of the year.

That must mean that you can't imagine your predictions coming true.

Obviously. But you have stated how strongly you believe them many times... and yet you apparently can't imagine them actually coming true.

Another in a long line of Steedeel contradictions.

Finding it hard to imagine not having something doesn’t in any way contradict what I have said. It just means I find it hard to imagine. I think you are getting mixed up with hard to believe.

A world without a steady stream of new movies on physical media is extremely easy to imagine, but I don't expect it will ever happen. You expect it to happen but you can't imagine it? Is your imagination that terrible?

That explains why you come up with so many crazy predictions. You apparently don't actually imagine any of them so you therefore have not thought about how they could happen or what they would entail.

Again, I’m going to call bullshit Cevolution! I’m sorry I haven’t responded sooner. I’ve been preoccupied with work and considered the matter closer until you decided to chime in again. Here’s the deal, I can’t maintain what I can’t control. The only thing you were trying to defend in your first post was your own opinion, which feels kind of personal. Otherwise you could have contacted me or a member of the staff about this privately.

Instead you decided to turn it into a public spectacle and that’s what Steedeel and I agree on. Which has never happened as long as we’ve been participating in this thread. So you’ve upset the balance of the thread, but rest assured the GIF’s and ball busting will continue as long as stupid posts are made by anyone. Because I am not going to censor myself unless ask by a moderator or someone who has enough respect to contact me personally

The only things that haven’t ported over are to other providers have been Paramount, Lionsgate and I think MGM (?) I’m sorry, I can’t remember that last one. I think it is one of the reasons why I tend to redeem in VUDU. As I tend to watch there. I haven’t downloaded the Movies Anywhere because neither my Xbox One or flatscreen have it. I’ll eventually upgrade to a UHD player, but have a bunch of things to take of before I do.

I considered the matter closed too, until you posted this. The disagreements between you and Steedeel are always a "public spectacle", but yet you've got an issue with me addressing this publicly . If you would've preferred this not to be discussed publicly, then why did you publicly post what I am responding to?... You could've contacted me via PM

Call BS on what? My argument and point about this hasn't changed since I first posted. What opinion would that be exactly? That you regularly post gifs that are off topic, which affect the flow of discussions and often add nothing to the conversation, that are really only for the purpose of shutting down what Steedeel is saying, as well as to belittle, antagonise, and to get a reaction out of him, which end up causing disagreements between the two of you, that are disruptive to other members. Then yeah, you nailed it, because that's exactly what I think. Do you honestly think that you don't do this? They certainly aren't a form of balance to the thread, let's call them what they really are, they are insults. You know that Steedeel doesn't like it when you do it, and that he likely will react to them, but you post them anyway, which essentially means you're purposely causing disagreements (and are pretty much admitting to this in the part of your post that I've bolded above). You have been asked by the mods multiple times to knock off the disagreements that you keep getting involved in with Steedeel, but you still continue to have them. "I can't maintain what I can't control" - yes you sure can control it, by simply not doing it. If you view stopping it as some kind of censorship, then fine... but that goes both ways, I'm not going to be censorsed either, and therefore will continue complaining about it being unnecessary when you do it

Ender, forgot to mention that The Mad Magician looks like it is getting a region free release by Indicator. It’s currently OOP. It’s a good 3D film but even more significant is the two ‘Three Stooges’ shorts included.

The release date is rumoured to be January 2020. It’s very much a priority to me along with 3D Rarities Volume 2. That release includes an entire film restored in 3D (Sword Of Granada) Also includes 65 minutes of 3D shorts. The first 3DRarities is a must own if you are into 3D curiosities.

In California I have been to 3 small town Walmarts. Two of them had the new disc displays, one did not. So it would appear Walmart is rolling out the new displays across the US. The one small town Best Buy I have been in had a typical BB disc displays. IMO, BB needs to up their game if they intend to keep up with Wally World.

Why would I contact you privately Cevolution? You started this shit show. So what would be the point? No, I’d like to leave it all out in the open so there’s no more misunderstandings going forward. Let’s be clear, I have no animosity towards you. I don’t know you well enough to form an opinion.

As far as my back and forth between Steedeel (or anyone else) isn’t anymore disruptive than any of the other posts from multiple members that most of the time have nothing to do with the discussion. As another member pointed out, if you don’t like the direction of the thread you have two choices.

Stir the conversation in a different point or leave the thread. Otherwise you don’t have a leg to stand on when you call out a member in a thread you don’t actively participate in. Chances are, it isn’t going to change things one way or another. We’ll still continue to disagree on preferences over quality.

What are you doing in Cali and what part Wendell? As far as this new set up, I know it was starting to roll out a few stores back when I was briefly an Anderson rep. The few stores that I’ve seen with this set up have about the same (if not less) than Best Buy in spite of their grandiose new layout.

I personally feel it is a pissing contest between Amazon and Walmart right now. Which is why Walmart has eliminated their price match guarantee and only match their website. I feel that’s a business mistake that might bite them in the ass in areas where they’re not king. Another part of me feels everything is going to be online eventually and that depresses me.

You can not control what other people choose to post, but you can control your reactions to them. You are going to encounter comments that you dislike, and maybe even members that you come to dislike, on an internet forum such as this one. It comes with the territory. Not everyone is going to please you.

If you really dislike a member's posts, you can reply (publicly or privately) and say why, but it is somewhat naive to think that people will change their behavior to suit you. They might, but I would not bet on it.

You can also just ignore them.

If you feel that someone's posts are truly offensive, you can report them.

The occasional off topic excursion does not bother me; I am guilty of taking plenty myself.

A GIF here and there can make for a bit of comedy relief; I find many to be quite funny. If, however, a member feels that a GIF, or any comment for that matter, is insulting, they have the same options listed above: reply, ignore, or report. None of us need a self-appointed champion to fight our battles for us; we can each take care of ourselves.

If you want to positively impact the flow of conversation in a thread, post a comment about something that you prefer to discuss. If you think that the thread has veered too far off course, help steer it back by posting something that is on topic instead of criticizing the "offender." People get defensive when criticized and things can easily escalate from there.

If the thread devolves into members repeatedly criticizing each other; the mods will intervene. They might lock the thread temporarily, close it permanently, and/or hand out suspensions and bans. And all for what? So someone can have the last word in these fruitless confrontations? We just had a warning; I think it would be best if we all heeded it.

I am contemplating some hardware upgrades and if I actually buy them, I will have to forego buying discs for a bit. I hope some of our members here will step-up and take up my slack.
