Many here are behaving precisely like the outrage manufacturers throughout history who have attempted to get these cult and genre movies censored and banned. The spirit and history of grindhouse cinema certainly is not politically correct. It makes me wonder how many collectors actually enjoy these films or if they are just buying them to put on a shelf for rarity bragging rights.

There's a huge difference between edgy entertainment and threats of physical violence to real people. Dave Chappelle's new standup said some stuff that offended some people but others, myself included, found it hilarious. But he wasn't standing there screaming at the audience threatening to kill them.

You seriously think we're spending thousands of dollars on niche Blurays but we don't enjoy the films? Your arguments are hollow.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this but the history of grindhouse cinema actually took place in the real world. All the easily offended people in this thread wouldn't have survived ten minutes in a real grindhouse theater back in the 70's and 80's.

What I see are a bunch of people who, by their own admission, hate Dark Force and/or Code Red. They have vowed repeatedly in this thread never to buy products from either company. Yet they continue to troll Bill and Dave in the livestreams then come here to gloat about it and pat each other on the back to the point where the moderators have to step in and threaten suspensions if there are any further troll posts. So what happens? Those same users literally whine that the thread might as well be closed if they can't troll. Their objective is clearly just to muck up the thread and get it closed because they can't stand the fact that other people might buy CR and DF releases.

Your Dave Chappelle analogy is a good one. When the new special was released many were calling for it to be removed and trying to end his career because of their own outrage. Some of us don't take Bill and Dave's antics so seriously, enjoy the products, and would like to continue reading about them without the constant spamming by wannabe activist trolls desperately trying to get the thread locked.

You seem to consider anyone you disagree with a troll. I hate to break it to you, I don't troll you, but I will call you out for your BS. If that makes me a troll in your eyes, well so be it. I've supported your releases in the past and even posted information on your releases (free marketing) in these very threads. I doubt trolls do that.

But we're all human beings, so I'll forgive you. My advice, for what it's worth, is to stick to business and keep the drama out of it.

I wasn't even aware of Code Red until after the thread was created in this very forum; let's say maybe 5 years. I can't speak for Bill's behavior prior to that, but as far back as I can remember he was always unhappy about everything.

Bill, I don't know Mr. Cxxxxxx, but if that is true, then my advice is to take the high road. I don't wish you death, but I don't think I've ever seen you happy as far back as I can remember. It sure seems like you're always unhappy or complaining about your customers even when one would think you have something to be happy about. If it's not one thing, it's always another. It's as if the glass is always half empty. Do you ever laugh or smile?

In what was clearly a pro wrestling inspired livestream and by a guy who dresses in a banana costume. For you non wrestling fans, there have been plenty of similar controversial moments throughout history. HHH once actually had sex with a corpse. Many fans were outraged and others saw it for what it was, a misguided attempt to be edgy.

It's disturbing how so many of you have sympathy for some faceless forum member and the ridiculous carny "threat" toward his infant son yet show no compassion whatsoever for Bill, a guy who is literally a pioneer in the collector DVD and Blu-Ray market, and his accident and subsequent deteriorating health. There have been a lot of "jokes" made about that in this and the CR thread yet nobody got outraged about it. Everyone just enjoys the show until they are made a part of it.
