Batman 4 movie collection

I already own the 4 old Batman movies in HD on iTunes. Blu-ray.com is telling me that the 4K collection is $19.99 but when I look, I see HD.

Is this because I own HD? I was hoping I could grab the collection to upgrade them.

All movie bundles are tagged as HD on iTunes. When you click on the individual movies it should display the 4K tag.

Sorry I don't know. I would think it should do. Why don't you purchase and see? You can always request a refund if they don't upgrade.

they will upgrade in itunes but if the bundle ends in .99 it will not port to MA in 4K. will port 4K only if the bundle price is equal to each title added up, IE ends in .98 or .97, etc.

I still find this to be such a puzzling thing. Time passes and I forget about this because I usually don't buy bundles.

Have to wonder if this is a systems thing or intentional.

I had preordered the 4K Steelbook box set but I've just had too many dented, messed up cases lately. Looking at the Best Buy review pushed me over the edge so I canceled it.

I wish I would’ve read this first. Just bought the bundle in iTunes and it did not port to Vudu as UHD

So is this the way bundles work in VUDU and FandangoNow as well, if the Batman collection is bought on VUDU in 4k they will only be 4k on VUDU but not go 4k in movies anywhere so ITUNES and FandangoNow would only get them in HD?

as far as I know its just an itunes thing. 4K bought anywhere else, ports out as such.

Oh, is that the 'logic' behind that? If you get a discount for buying the bundle, you don't get 4k ported to MA? I was never quite sure why they wouldn't always port over...

yeah, it is dumb, but thats just how it is for now.

OK so if I buy 4K movies from iTunes it will not port to MA has 4K, correct? If that’s the case then the smart play is just to avoid buying them from iTunes and buy them somewhere else which should port to iTunes anyways. Craziness lol

They will port to MA from iTunes if it’s from WB, Universal, and Sony.

the only time it wont port 4k out from itunes is when its a bundle is priced ending in .99. individual titles, and bundles ending in any other number, will port out in 4k.
