Confused as to why Amazon says I will get this on October 3rd but shining will arrive on release date

Now four of five people have posted reviews on Youtube. How did people get theirs early?

By saying that they're reviewers. Amazing that any old clueless turnip can do this but hey-ho, that's the Internet for you.

The usual hallmarks of the average youtube reviewer

1) Almost non existent production values. The typical fashion of filming on their bed giving the distinct impression they still live with their parents.
2) Showing no awareness of their own insignificant. Here's some guy named Joe telling you he just went to Wallmart and bought End Game like it really means something to everyone. Just like all the thousands of Joe's who uploaded before him. Do these dudes come off an assembly line?
3) How blindingly obvious it is their film watching history consists of only the latest blockbusters, and a handful of 80s cult classics. That's not a slur aganist those who's film watching conforms to that. But at least they know who Tarkovsky is, and that's just not their cup of tea.

guys, I just finished watching my copy. it's not the most perfect of perfect 4K titles (some inherent softness , especially around Gizmo's face), but it's LIGHT YEARS ahead of the Blu-ray. The Blu-ray was over brightened with too much ruddy orange/red push to it. Blacks were crushed in some scenes, and washed out in others with excessive grain. That's all been fixed here. The image is more natural and dimmer, as well as the colors more accurate and appealing.

Just watched it on Netflix last night in HD of course. Just wanted to visit again to see if I want to buy it right away.

Unless the steelbook blows my socks off in person I think I’ll wait for a price drop.

I've only ever owned this on VHS and DVD so I'm delighted to hear the UHD is pleasing!
